Apartamentos Carballal

Pros: Location and facilities. Rooms were great and big bathrooms were excellent. We had problems with luggage collection but host was most supportive.

Cons: Town seemed to be very quiet.

Staying in a paradise in Palas de rey

Pros: Staying in a paradise during Camino. The apartment has everything you need, including washing machine, even with washing pods provided. Proper coffee machine with coffee and cacao capsules provided. 10 out of 10. In the city center. You are writhing 2 minutes walk to anything you need. Very easy check in. Very clean. Highly recommend this place.

Convenient, clean, spacious and airconditioned apartment right on camino route

Pros: Right on the camino route, and a cross road location for my cycling route. Great access to feeding and drinking options nearby. Drama-free arrival, and helpful host. Clean, spacious, and well appointed property with excellent air conditioning. The latter was a booking priority for me, given the fact of my cycling and the hot weather currently being experienced hereabouts.

Cons: The property looks down on the main road thru town. It's Palas de Rei so that's not a terrible thing, it's not as if there's a constant hm of traffic, but early morning utility trucks provided an unwelcome awakening. I'd still stay here again.

Pros: My wife wants one exactly the same but by the beach.

Cons: Some road noise.

Luxury accommodation in Palas de Rei

Pros: We loved this apartment, it was beautiful and real luxury with floor to ceiling/ wall to wall glass doors on to a veranda. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and having both a bathroom and en-suite meant we could all get ready in a much shorter time. Our host was helpful and responsive and kindly left us milk and water which was gladly received. Very reasonably priced particularly for a group of four. We loved this place so much so my husband said he could stay for a week!

Great clean new apartment!

Pros: Newly renovated and modern this place was great for us as pilgrims on the camino! It has a washing machine, drying rack, kitchen to make meals, A/C in all the rooms and conveniently located along the camino path. The hosts were easily contactable by WhatsApp and responded quickly to all questions.

Perfect stay in Palas de Rei

Pros: This was a perfect stay after a days walk! Everything was perfect and I really felt at home!! Manuel was concise with all the instructions and it was certainly my best stay on the Camino. I could even make myself something to eat for the next stage on the Camino. 😀 Your home is beautiful, thank you again!!!
