Absolutely Magical Stay! A Home Away from Home.

Pros: This place is absolutely magical. We stopped here for one night during our motorcycle trip, and we loved everything about it. The house is full of beautiful, genuine things with soul, love, and history. It's a rare combination of exquisite details, like the embroidered bedding, and total comfort, including a hot shower and heating. The hosts were welcoming and kind, making us feel truly at home away from home. The breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented; Flor even cooked us scrambled eggs in addition to the traditional breakfast. The surrounding nature is stunning. We managed to go for a short hike, and there are many trails of different lengths nearby. Also, the roads for the motorcycle ride were fantastic—virtually empty, moderately mountainous, and winding. Highly, highly recommended!

A lovely home with a very pleasant and likeable family

Pros: We were welcomed on arrival and felt very welcome throughout our stay. Juan and his family could not have been more pleasant. Our total lack of Spanish was a bit of a nuisance for us but that was our problem. Their son spoke good English and helped us enormously. He also helped other guests. The house is a renovated older building, bursting with character and very attractive. Our bedroom was full of old beams and exposed stonework but the bathroom was ultra modern. We couldn’t have asked for more. Breakfast comprised orange juice, yoghourt, fresh fruit, coffee, fried or scrambled eggs, ham and cheese with homemade bread and butter, marmalade or jam and cake. It was fantastic and lasted us all day.

Cons: The hosts could not have done anything more to improve our stay but the distances to other places was more than expected. Booking.com quoted 18 kms to a place we visited but, in fact, it was more like 40 kms by road.

Pros: amazing breakfast, free room upgrade, lovely chat with the owners

Pros: Stay here if you can! The facilities are absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Garden and terraces were also terrific. The hosts were very nice and helpful and service was amazing. Good breakfast. Amazing place to stay if you enjoy nature and hiking in the Eume region.

Cons: Be careful with Google Maps route suggestions when arriving. Some of the roads may not be in the perfect condition.

Amazing. Feel like at home kinda stay

Pros: Everything was perfect! The hosts are the warmest people ever, the house is splendid with fire places and a chalet-like decoration. It’s remote but at the same time the perfect place to discover the region. Thank you again for the great stay, we’ll be back!

Pros: Our stay was amazing. The hosts greeted us with coffee and a fresh baked zucchini bread (meeting our dairy and gluten free restrictions). The home is beautiful, and we spent our evening on the patio watching the sunset while drinking wine. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the hosts helped guide us to an excellent hike in fragas do eume. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfy, and the surroundings were very peaceful. Would recommend this bnb to anyone.

Definitely a highlight of our northern Spain holiday.

Pros: Flor is an amazing host who made us feel part of the family. Nothing was too much effort for her and the breakfasts set us up for the days walking. The views are magical - forests and landscaped garden surrounds. No wonder people keep returning!

Cons: The only downside for us was a lack of signage from the main road to find this hidden gem.

Pros: everything. This is not a 2 star hotel. It's a 5 star guest house.

Cons: lack of restaurants around.

Pros: Very welcoming and helpful staff. Good value for money. Excellent location to see the national park. Best breakfast i've had in Spain
