Pensión A Marronda

A comfortable place with a bar and restaurant in the samebuilding.

Pros: We had a comfortable stay in Pensión A Marronda. The pension is not exactly on the Camino route, but it's a small city, so it doesn't make a big difference. The room was spacious and clean. It is quite convenient that there are a bar and a restaurant in the same building. They are opening early in the morning so it's possible to get some snacks and coffee for breakfast.

Cons: We were there at the end of the pilgrimage season, so they were a bit understaffed, which resulted in a longer wait for registering, receiving food and beverages in the bar and the restaurant.

Great location for the Camino with spotless comfortable rooms

Pros: Great location. Very comfortable stay on the Camino. Quiet. Very clean room and super shower. Helpful hosts.

Cons: Property great - would have been lovely to have slightly thicker and larger towels as once wet they didn’t easily dry.

The overnight stay was good, but as for the handling of documents, it is not taken into account.

Pros: The location was very good, the hostel rooms are situated above a café. Excellent dinners were provided on site. In the morning, it was possible to have breakfast there and get a coffee.

Cons: Since our room was located above the entrance to the café, it was quite noisy early in the morning. I needed to receive an invoice. The host promised to send it to my email, but I never received it, and even after several reminders, the invoice was not sent.

Good stop on Camino Primitivo

Pros: Comfortable beds, spacious room. Good location for Camino Primitivo. Evening meal in restaurant good.

Cons: Breakfast options in cafe not great. Understaffed for how busy it was.

Good place to be at the camino.

Pros: Super easy CheckIn - Breakfast in the bar available.

Cons: I stayed on the first floor - although it was a Sunday, loud music from the bar kept me awake.

Pros: Convenient location for the Camino. Nice and clean and comfortable.

Cons: Check in was a bit chaotic and not particularly friendly as bar was super busy and not many staff.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, newly refurbished rooms, nice restaurant and friendly staff.

Pros: Nice, clean and comfortable stop on the Camino. Not much to do in Baleira (there is a public pool though!), and we spent a relaxing time in the restaurant below (with great wine list!).

Excellent Pension on the Camino Primitivo

Pros: This is a wonderful pension in Cádavo Baleira, we stayed for a night while walking the Camino Primitivo. It is above a very good cafe that offers meals and opens early in the morning for breakfast. We had a double room, which also had an extra bed, the shower was good, the room was light and airy and it was quiet at night, we had a very comfortable stay. The WiFi was excellent.

Cons: Nothing, I was very impressed with this pension, it was very good value for money.

Nice place to stay.

Pros: Clean and comfortable room. They let my husband check in early.

Cons: Nothing. It was a nice little place after a long day of walking.
