This hotel is located in the center of Burela, on the Galician coast of Lugo (Mariña Lucense), just 200 meters from the beach and port of Burela and 100 meters from the bus and train stations. All rooms have satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony. The Galatea has a private spa for the client, always prior appointment reservation to be able to access it. The spa has a hot tub, sauna, contrast shower and pre-flood. Pros: A very comfortable bed. Good value for money for what I paid off-season, with breakfast inclusive. I needed to catch a bus at 9.20am but learned that breakfast was not provided until 9am. The hostess opened early especially for me which was very thoughtful. No traffic noise.

Cons: There were very few guests so it was hard to judge, but noise seemed to permeate the walls (from a neighbour's shower and people talking in the corridor).

Unwelcoming

Pros: Beautifully furnished spacious room with good bathroom. The provision of the automatic heating in the room was nice (November)

Cons: As a level 3 Genius member, I have stayed in many properties in many countries. I found each of the three members of staff I spoke with to be unwelcoming and unfriendly. The reason for my score of 8 was the lovely room. Poor wifi connection I was unable to leave before 8:30am. (November)

Great value for money with very friendly staff

Pros: Very clean room, great bathroom and very good bed, even for Spanish standards. Host was friendly in communication, I booked thirty minutes before they closed on Sunday (14:00) and was patient enough with my almost non existent Spanish to explain how I could get in (get a pin for the front door and room number). Good espresso in the morning. There were quite some hotels I stayed at in this region with less value for money.

Cons: I booked this place because I needed a bed. The view from the room wasn't great. But I had a balcony to hang dry my hand washed clothes for a camino.

Pros: Las habitaciones muy cómodas,limpias y no se escuchaban ruidos ningunos. La manera de entrar en el hotel y en la habitación es muy cómoda porque va todo con código y no tienes que ir con tarjetas. La atención de Belén fue perfecta, muy amable y sonriente. Volveremos el próximo año
