Pros: Once we had found the premises which are just out of town. The place was superb and the breakfast good. For us it was a nice walk to town and plenty to do. The lady who looked after the place was very pleasant

Rural Hotel in San Antonio

Pros: Self-check-in rural hotel in quiet residential area. We liked the rustic look of the room. It was big and comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub which I enjoyed after a long walk.

Cons: The hotel is situated in San Antonio. There is nothing around the hotel, and the closest cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are in Tapia de Casariego, 25 min walk. Ideal for motorised tourists but probably not ideal for Camino walkers. We were on the Camino and had left before the breakfast was available.

Pros: nice modern feel but retaining traditional elements. Good parking off road. Quiet. Great value for money.

Cons: limited breakfast. odd arrangements to collect keys as no staff on day of arrival?

Pros: Great accomodation!!! Very rustic, excellent. Bathroom was huge.

Great place to stay

Pros: The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is fantastic. The owner is definitely a traveler and knows what people like when away. A very relaxing stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place to settle down after a ferry trip and within easy reach of the ports

Pros: Lovely setting in a quiet rural area. Breakfast was simple but included local bread, cake, jam and honey. Freshly squeezed orange juice and brewed coffee were a bonus. Room was cleaned each day.

Cons: Booking.com had the wrong address on its site so we had to rely on google maps to get us there. Not a good start to a vacation. We informed the receptionist who was surprised at the error and assured us it would be corrected.

Perfect - if I could get this every time I stayed away I would be a happy man.

Pros: Very dog friendly, quiet little village, simple breakfast with excellent coffee. 5 minute drive down to the port which was wonderful. Lovely bars and tapas.

Beautiful homely accommodation

Pros: Lovely home, beautiful homely settings. Immaculately clean, comfortable room and huge ensuite bathroom. Owner was so considerate. She left keys outside so that we can check in anytime we arrived.
