Spain 🇪🇸

Very nice and quiet place overlooking the Sil river. Great place to spend the summer with kids.

Pros: The hotel is a very big place, with lots of curious things to look around. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. It is located on a hillside and has beautiful views over the Sil river.

Cons: We went last week (August 2025). It is one of the hottest summers in Galician history ending in the most terrible wild fires. I know just a few days later the whole area was swallowed by the flames. I don't know if the hotel was affected or not by the fire, I truly hope not. After saying this, while we were staying there, the air conditioner even though it did work, did not go below 28ºC (83ºF). It was very hot. I understand the need of saving on electrical bills, but the third floors that are directly below the rooftops get very hot during these days.

Wonderful stay in fairytale location

Pros: We loved the spacious room, beautiful decor, huge bed, swimming facilities and dining options. Location was beautiful and quiet. Staff were outstanding!

Cons: There was a little mishap with our dinner which was promptly solved. Breakfast times are a bit too early on weekdays. The place needs a bit more maintenance (little details) to become truly out of this world.

Pros: Good room and balcony with lovely view up in the mountains.

Cons: A bit confused about the dinner booking and as we are not speaking Spanish we didn’t really know what we ordered. Only we and another couple were dining but the staff seemed stressed.

Las empleados son inmejorables

Pros: El horario del desayuno era de 9 a 11. Nosotros nos teníamos que ir a las 8 y la trabajadora que se encarga de los desayunos, totalmente fuera de su horario laboral nos dejó preparado el desayuno la noche anterior y nos lo llevó a la habitación. Espero que traten bien a sus empleados, porque son todos muy agradables. Muchas gracias 😊

Pros: Habitaciones y camas muy grandes, buena temperatura. El coche queda aparcado dentro del recinto. El personal muy atento, los sabado el desayuno es a partir de las 9 de la mañana y nosotros pedimos si podía ser antes, y nos lo pusieron a a las 8.30, como habíamos pedido.

Cons: Nos gustó todo.
