Felt like home.

Pros: Jose Luis the owner: He embodies the spirit of El Camino with his generosity and hospitality. No door code for him - he came personally to welcome us. His was the only apartment I didn’t want to leave. He had a fully stocked kitchen with more than enough food for breakfast: Cheese, butter, marmalade, bread and pastries, coffee and tea, milk, liquor he brewed himself and beer (with frozen glasses)! We were so spoilt. He even had a 50km sign for pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostela. The apartment was sparkling clean, had lots of light, lots of space, four bedrooms with full size toiletries with choice of shampoo and shower gel and washer and dryer.

Cons: Nothing. It is a walk up but no problem because Jose Luis brought our luggage up to the apartment and came early in the morning to help us bring them down.

Pros: Modern spacious apartment. Very well equipped. Quiet. Water and food left for us along with drinks which was lovely and much appreciated after a long days walking.

Perfect in every way

Pros: I can’t rate this property highly enough. The host was extremely helpful, leaving supplies in the fridge for us. The apartment is gorgeous, great showers, central, spacious, close to Camino. Not a negative to say.

Best stay ever

Pros: The owner was so kind and hospitable! Made us feel so welcomed with the little touches of care and thoughtfulness when we arrived. Eg serving us Melide’s special cheese with fresh bread, bringing in a humidifier to dry our wet shoes. The facilities were well maintained. One of the best we have come across in Camino.

Pros: Jose Luis and Nicola were absolutely wonderful! The apartment is enormous. It's a HOME. It's beyond clean and comfortable. We were treated likely family. The breakfast was lovely too! Amazing!

Wonderful stay in Melide.

Pros: Fantastic host who met us. He showed us all the facilities of the apartment. His son brought crepes to us for breakfast. The host used Google translate to communicate with us.

Cons: Irish people like a jug kettle to make tea.
