Comfortable stay
Pros: The video on how to find the apartment and get in was super helpful. Near to cafe/bars/supermarket. Loved having a washing machine, and the room was so warm that my clothes were dry by the next morning. Comfortable overnight stay.

Very restful and relaxing stay. Very well equipped kitchen. We really enjoy the few from the balcony.
Pros: Location, easy check in process, and Javier (the host is responding promptly to any of our request). Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Portomarín stay - and got the T-shirt!
Pros: Communication with the proprietor by text, etc. (once we’d found our way to the apartment building) to gain access was easy enough in the end, in spite of my rusty Spanish! There’s a terrace at the rear of the property where it was pleasant to sit with a glass in the evening. An apartment has the advantage, too, of being somewhere to just make a cup of tea, sit and relax during the day that isn’t a “social space” of some description. If, like us you’re here as part of a road trip or similar or on the Camino, it’s also great that there’s a washing machine so we could swill our smalls! The various fixtures and fittings are a bit mix-and-match but that just adds character; everywhere in the apartment, bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, was clean. Beds were very comfortable. All in all we enjoyed our stay here very much.
Cons: Not a complaint, really, but apartments aren’t really sound-proofed very well so we were disturbed the first night by a group of what sounded like tap-dancing pilgrims upstairs discussing their experience of the Camino that day! Well, one pilgrim with a penetrating voice, in particular! But they’d piped down by 11:30 p.m., we all got our beauty sleep and they were gone before we were up and about next morning. As a Camino veteran I can be magnanimous and forgiving!

Enhanced our visit to Sarria…
Pros: Very spacious, nice to have outdoor space, access to washing machine, enough kitchenware for a group of four to prepare and serve meals. The bathrooms were clean and all very tidy.
Cons: Our biggest bugbear was the fact that our doorbell seemed to be used as the port of entry for the entire building and went off at all hours of the day and night.
