A bit of luxury on the Camino.

Pros: A bit of luxury on the Camino. A quiet end of town but just yards from a lovely parade of restaurants. We loved having a comfy sofa (we fell asleep in the afternoon after coming off the trail). Our room overlooked a small park and all we could hear were birds singing.

Nice quiet location.

Pros: Located just at the end of the Central Street in the pedestrianised area of Portomarin. Nice, shiny new/refurbished building with state of the art facilities although I couldn't get the (supplied) coffee maker to work. Easily the most expensive night's accommodation on the Camino (for me) though.

Cons: The coffee maker wasn't working. I tried several different power points and couldn't see any button I wasn't pushing to actually get it to fire up. Possibly user error. Or not.

Pros: Beautiful property, fully air conditioned with lots of space. The owner greeted us at reception going beyond letting us walk our bicycles up to her home just a couple of minutes away. Fabulous stay very close to the restaurants and bars but far enough away not to be disturbed by noise. Would stay again.

Great stop for peace and quiet after a long day on the Camino

Pros: This is a self contained unit - perfect for two people. Immaculately presented and kitchen is fine for simple meal preparation.
