Beautiful centrally located apartment
Pros: Beautiful comfortable apartment. Very central location.
Cons: Property manager didn't reply to our email communications. Extremely noisy until approx 4am on both nights which we didn't complain about, as we were in the centre of town & it's not the owners fault.

Excellent apartment in a fantastic location
Pros: Superb location, beautifully decorated, quirky and yet functional design. It had everything we needed
Cons: The top bunk was slightly creaky and the noise it made was a bit annoying

Pros: I received the access key remotely, but there were no issues in getting assistance from the host. Even when there were minor issues in the apartment, they were promptly resolved with proactive help. Additionally, all the necessities for a long-term traveler were provided, allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Cons: None

Pros: Perfect location for the old and new town and close to all travel options. Very close to a good supermarket and the general market. Well equipped and comfortable. Quiet.
Cons: The need to wait until 5pm before being able to access the property. This is common throughout Santiago but very, very inconvenient. I assume that the cleaner works for several owners so you are restricted by their timtable. Having to spend 7 hours killing time in the town, especially in the rain, is exhausting and dreary. The large rug has come unstuck at one edge and is curled, it’s a trip hazard, especially at night when the sitting area, which you pass through on the way to the bathroom, is very dark.

Ideal apartment
Pros: Location. The bed. Plenty space. Clean. Big fridge for cooking at home. Big shower. Really a very nice stay if the two small negatives don't affect you much.
Cons: Very difficult to get big bags up those narrow stairs. The lights from the other apartments shine into your room and you have no way of shutting it out. So you are only in darkness if your neighbours above or below you also have their lights off.

Good for a weekend in Santiago if you want to be in the middle of old town so walking distance everywhere
Pros: Vet good central location, clean and pretty modern.
Cons: Too many stairs to get to the top, not good for older people. Main entrance not accessible before 5pm on day of arrival. Internet is spotty at best, especially on the TV, should connect it via cable, we are in 2023 after all.

Lovely location, but be aware of late check in.
Pros: Lovely location and the apartment is very intelligently laid out.
Cons: Unfortunately there were a lot of black hairs on the floor and bathroom when we arrived. We also had issues with the shower drain and were missing some towels. We contacted the owner and someone came that night. Last thing that wasn’t ideal was that you can’t check in until 5pm. We were walking the Camino and arrived at 12 for the pilgrim mass and then needed to kill 4 hours before we could get in. We knew that on booking but if you’re doing the Camino be aware of the late entry time. (All other places we stayed along the Camino allowed us in around 2pm at the latest).
