Lovely private apartment in a quiet neighbourhood

Pros: Lovely property in a quiet neighbourhood location. About a 20 minute walk to the centre of Santiago de Compostella. The apartment is at the back of a private house with beautiful gardens. Quite a sanctuary. Carmen our host went out of her way to ensure a taxi turned up to take us to the bus station (not in walking distance).

Cons: The use of very strong smelling bleach to clean the property.

Pros: The hosts are very nice and they have a nice house out of the city centre. We stayed in the apartment for 4 people. Sleeping sofa and bed for 2. It is well renovated and even if there is no air conditioning the area is windy and cool enough even in the hotest days. There is a beautiful garden with a small swimming pool and a small basketball playground. Very good choice if you are traveling by car and with kids. Parking by the house. 10 minutes by car to the city center where it is easy to park in garages (Cathedral 1,4 €/hour).

Cons: When we stayed there it was more than 35C. Some air condition would be useful at least in the bedroom, but not a big issue. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Excellent location and studio would recommend.

Pros: Perfect! Easy walk into the city. Beautifully appointed internally with attention to detail making it very welcoming and comfortable. We loved it!

Cons: There was nothing to dislike. No air con so a bit warm at times but we coped!

A whole floor in a villa.

Pros: A spacious apartment on the ground floor of a villa. Helpful and cordial host in spite of lack of English. Free parking on the street next to the house. A half hour walk to the cathedral through a park and old town.

Cons: No dishwasher. The host only speaks Spanish.

Perfect

Pros: Nice, clean, one-bedroom appartement. Very kind owner who gave us lots of information. We could sit outside. You could walk to Santiago in 20-25 minutes, but also go by bus. Parking in the street is no problem.

Cons: Bit out of center.

Pros: Apartamento muy cómodo, con todo lo necesario. Muy bonito, en una zona perfecta para dejar el coche aparcado y bajar al casco histórico andando. Lo mejor de todo los anfitriones que estuvieron pendientes de todo lo que necesitáramos.
