Recommended.

Pros: Good shower, power, wifi, Comfy beds, restaurant round the corner.

Cons: It’s not cheap for no aircon no screen.

Pros: Great location, fabulous views out the windows. Attention to detail, even fresh flowers in our room. Located in a lovely town. Well, worth a stop overnight. David and his wife are amazing hosts, home cooked food is amazing. Dinner needs to be organised as it's down the road at the big hotel. David informs you of what you need to do.

Peaceful private room on Camino

Pros: Lovely comfy bed in quiet room - in a great village. Very friendly staff.

Relaxing and comfortable Camino stopover

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped Albergue. Our room had a stunning view over the mountains and all the facilities we required. Breakfast included. Did not provide dinner but there was a great place right next door. Perfect Camino stopover if you want a private room.

Pros: The room was fantastic with great views. Having breakfast supplies available in the morning for us to make ourselves was a great way to provide breakfast. We appreciated the rye bread rather than just white bread. The fittings in the room were clever and unique which gave it a real upmarket feel.

An excellent stop on the Camino Francés.

Pros: El Acebo is on the Camino and we spent the night there at La Trucha. It was luxurious in a comfortable and friendly way. The room had a mountain view and was spacious and well appointed. The owners sorted our meal reservations (elsewhere) smoothly and easily.

Pros: Location is amazing! Fantastic views- so peaceful. Great communication and really friendly host who phoned and made a reservation for dinner for us after our late arrival. Breakfast laid out and ready for us whatever time we wanted to leave

Home away from Home

Pros: Super comfy room with a beautiful outlook across the hills. Spotlessly clean. David was extremely welcoming (spoke English) and gave us all the info we needed for the stay (including how to arrange for dinner) without us having to ask. It was a lovely stay despite the wet weather.
