Comfortable, good value, on Camino.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly. Made us a fine dinner, as there was nowhere open to eat in the village on Sunday evening. The room was great, two comfortable double beds. Clean spacious bathroom. It was well heated at end of October, when it was quite cold outside.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Lovely quiet location backing onto the river with ladder into water. Good quality bed linen and comfy bed. Nice manager or possibly she is the owner. Locally run supermarkets stock all you need.

Cons: Nada/nothing.

Excellent quality and value. Fantastic breakfast to suit your own time.

Pros: Lovely welcome with very helpful dining out advice.

Pros: Clean and nice room. Provided great breakfast with home made foods. Provided lunch bags to go with sandwiches and snacks

A wonderful stay on the Camino in a delightful town.

Pros: Fantastic stay at Maria’s modern and cozy pension. Maria is a warm hostess and even invited me to a family celebration. The room, sunny and light, comfortable bed and cleanliness.

Nice place to stay

Pros: Clean Fairly close to supermarkets and cash machine Toiletries

Cons: Far end of town so when you arrive to Vega de Valcarce it’s still a fair walk to find it. 2 flights of stairs to room. My backpack was left for pickup, it was never picked up and none of the staff here at pension Fernandez cared enough to call me. They just left it in the hallway all day long until I noticed it was gone when I arrived to O Cebreiro. I then had to make other arrangements to get it. I found this lack of care a bit concerning.

Pros: The host as the same lovely lady as two years ago. The rooms was very nice, the beds comfortable. We loved staying here.

Pros: Hostess Maria was sweet and very welcoming. She recommended a local restaurant which was excellent. Also an excellent breakfast for 4€.

Pros: Friendly staff. Facility was very clean. I appreciated the outdoor clothesline after handwashing clothes

Cons: Lack of convenient electrical outlets. The locks on the doors (bedroom and bathroom) were very noisy; sleep was disturbed from 5am on as people got ready to leave.

We had a great time in the hotel and a little bar just up the street

Pros: I arrived by taxi after hurting my leg on Camino, Maria was fantastic and really helpful. Good breakfast for 4 euros, good size room with aircon which is rare in country Spain
