Pros: This was a warm, welcoming guest house on the Camino Ingles for our last night before walking to Santiago de Compostela. Rooms are very comfortable and there are a lounge, kitchen and dining room for guests too.

Cons: We would have liked to have stayed another night, as we didn't get a chance to enjoy the beautiful garden there!

Beautiful, unique experience with wonderful meals and a very helpful, charming hostess, perfect for the Camino Ingles.

Pros: This is a beautiful place with an amazing dinner and kind, friendly hostess. Highly recommended and the nicest, most unique place I stayed on the Camino Ingles.

Cons: It was a challenging long walk from Betanzos, so be prepared for the distance if you are walking the Camino Ingles.

Superb

Pros: The space, thoughtfulness. There were towels, hand towels, cloth mats which are sensibilities that are missing in other places. The space was just amazing, the small living room, kitchen etc was superb.

Truly memorable experience

Pros: The host Veronica and her other staff were amazing. They couldn't do enough for us to make our stay a wonderful experience. This was our favourite place on the Camino. We had a lovely dinner and there were eggs for breakfast!

Very nice casa and lovely garden.

Pros: Very nice casa. Excellent beds en comfortable room. Lovely gardin to rest and good breakfast.

Cons: Although very Sapnish, the echos from others in the breakfastroom is huges.

Perfect place to stay on the Camino

Pros: Veronica the host was really friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. She also had a good selection of local wines to enjoy in the beautiful garden, including a premium wine aged on the lees. It was very serene and relaxing after a day of walking. The breakfast was great as well, with freshly cooked eggs and bacon, espresso-based coffee (the best we had on the Camino by far), freshly squeezed orange juice and lots of other things. An ideal place to stay after a day of walking.

Lovely place to stay on the Camino Ingles

Pros: This was a wonderful place to stay while doing the Camino Ingles and Veronica was a kind and very helpful host. The breakfast was excellent - lots of options, including hot food cooked to order. The garden was very relaxing. We cannot recommend this Casa Rural Dona Maria too highly.

Cons: Nothing.
