Pros: Good price for pilgrim. Check in process is easy and good. People could hangout at the kitchen/ common area. I stayed in a single bed room. I am satisfied with what offered.

Cons: Many people queue up for washing machine and dryer. One of the toilet / shower room is confusing without a lock at the main door. I bumped into other who was putting on clothes. A bit embarrassing.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: This albergue has a great shared kitchen and the shared bathrooms are clean with good showers. The staff member was extremely helpful and friendly and we had a very comfortable stay. The twin beds were bigger than average and we slept well.

Cons: Our twin room was small with a courtyard view. If we stayed here again, we'd opt for a bigger room.

Great albergue looking like a guest house

Pros: The location is perfect for Camino pilgrims, almost on the route and very central. The albergue looks more like a hostel, with ordinary beds, 2-3 in one room. Vathrooms are clean and hotel, not albergue style. Kitchen is equiped with all necessary equipment, if you want to cook. Washing and drying facilities are in place for small extra charge.

Pros: The host, was so helpful and kind. She showed us around the facilities and room. And made everyone feel welcome. The room was clean and bed comfortable, the location was central for access to caldas de reis. Was value for money.
