Villa Vieira

Pros: We stayed in an ensuite room on the third floor. It was comfortable. The whole place is lovely. It felt cosy and clean. The kitchen was good. It was a really nice place to stay while doing the Camino. It had a nice vibe.

Cons: The breakfast was very basic.

Pros: Nice Hostel, very modern the owner checked in with information via WhatsApp beforehand. I was welcomed by a friendly staff lady. There was a shower not working well when I arrived and she tried to fix it quickly. The rooms are nice and with the curtains and fully frames bed you can create privacy. I have rarely slept this well in a hostel. The breakfast was abundant as well and you could buy pre-made meals for lunch and dinner as well in the hostel directly.

An oasis after a tough walking day

Pros: It had been well designed and laid out. After a long day walking it was lovely to walk into with such excellent facilities. A lot of thought has gone into the property. The owner and builder Robert came to see us and spent time talking about the development.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like apart from not being able to stay another night

modern hostel

Pros: Modern hostel with comfy bunk beds, lovely common area, fireplace, and washer/dryer. There are snacks and microwave meals for sale. It felt much more like a nice hotel in terms of quality.

Cons: Breakfast was too basic. Just cornflakes, toast, yogurt, tea/coffee.

Amazing stay, best hostel on the Camino

Pros: Great location, it’s right on the Camino trail, and there’s a shop just around the corner. The hostel is modern, cozy, and really well kept. The staff member was super nice and helpful, and the cleaning lady was lovely too. The bed was comfy, and the curtain around it added some privacy and made sleeping even better. The kitchen was big and fully equipped, perfect for pilgrims. The common area had lots of comfy sofas, perfect for chilling after a long day. There was also a washer and dryer available, which was really convenient. Outside there’s a nice garden with a pool. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. Everything was super clean. If I walk to Santiago again, I’ll definitely stay here.

Cons: I don’t have any major complaints, but my dorm was on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen, so you could sometimes hear other guests in the evenings. It wasn’t a big deal, but if you prefer total silence, it’s something to keep in mind.

Beautiful and friendly albergue.

Pros: Fantastic albergue. Felt more like a hotel than a backpackers. Beautiful, clean, friendly and helpful. I got assigned a top bunk but due to a knee injury I requested a lower bunk and they went out of their way to find me one. Much appreciated. Food available to purchase because it's a very small town (5 buildings and a restaurant).

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The accommodation was the best on our trip, modern and clean. The host Robert was welcoming and friendly . The breakfast was plentiful. I can highly recommend

Pros: Excellent albergue on the Camino. Very organized and clean.

Cons: I don’t remember if I had to pay for including the breakfast, but I wouldn’t have done it if I had known it. Very basic. However, you have the possibility of preparing whatever you want.

Pros: Location is great as it allowed a shorter walk into Santiago. The rooms were very well designed and spacious with a lovely outlook over c the garden and pool area. Spacious kitchen, dining and sitting area. Pleasant pool area and terrace. Everything felt new and fresh
