Pros: Excellent location, just around 5 minutes walk to the cathedral

Comfortable and clean, great location for pilgrims

Pros: The curtain around the bed made the stay much more comfortable and provided a nice sense of privacy. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance, and most importantly, it’s close to the cathedral and the pilgrim’s office. There are also plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, which is very convenient. The entire albergue was clean and well maintained. Each guest had a locker opened with a card, and there was also a laundry facility available, very practical for pilgrims.

Cons: The beds were quite squeaky, which made it a bit difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The staff could be a little friendlier and more welcoming, at times they seemed a bit distant, which slightly affected the overall experience. Other than that, everything was fine.

Great accommodation and staff

Pros: Excellent sized beds with bedding and curtains for private. Large secure lockers and great helpful staff. Added an extra night and didn’t have to change beds. Excellent service. Thank you

Cons: Not quite central from the cathedral but only a 6 minute walk.

Comfortable albergue within walking distance to cathedral

Pros: Showers were nice and hot. Bed had curtains that provided good privacy. Individual power and light were available. Fresh towel provided. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Lockers provided with digital key card. Digital key card meant you could come back into the albergue whenever you wanted to. Little kitchenette with fridge and microwave available. Rooms are set in the back so away from noisy road in front of the albergue. 10 min walk to cathedral. 30 min walk to bus station. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Supermarket located next door.

Cons: No handwashing of clothes facility. No where to properly hang wet clothes.

Comfortable and in a great location

Pros: The lockers were very large and secure. Curtains on the beds for privacy. Vending machines on site for coffee and a small selection of food.

Cons: Lights went off while showering as they weren’t sensing any movement.

Pros: Absolutely wonderful stay! The location is perfect — just a short walk from the heart of Santiago. The albergue is very clean, well-kept, with comfortable beds and spacious lockers that make the stay really convenient. What truly makes this place special are the hosts — incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. Their kindness creates a homely and positive atmosphere that you immediately feel when you arrive. I’m very grateful for my stay here and would happily come back again. Highly recommended! 🌟

Very well located (!), clean and colourful

Pros: The hostel is the perfect hostel when you arrived in Santiago after doing the camino. The tiny hostel is behind the cathedral and also behind the pilgrims office where you can receive the certificate. Its colourful and the owners care about the hostel: Its clean. There is a very (!) small kitchen you can use. The check out time is at 10:00 am, which is nice when this stay is your first stay after the camino and you need to relax.

Cons: There is no place to dry your clothes you have to use the dryer of the hostel. There could be some more hooks in the bathroom at the outside of the showers. I had the feeling that the team of the hostel was a bit nervous because I stayed nearly till 10:00 (check out time). There is less space, but it's a cute tiny hostel.

Pros: Great location a few minutes from the Cathedral. Clean and quiet. Laundry it's done by the host for 6€ wash and dry. Very friendly staff.

Cons: No cooker, but fridge and microwave available.

Great albergue for a single night stay

Pros: Beds very comfortable, curtains for privacy, big lockers for rucksacks, towels, sheets and blankets very clean.

Cons: Very dark colour scheme and low lighting so it felt quite oppressive and dingy.
