Great hostel in good location with helpful friendly hostel manager

Pros: Lovely friendly helpful hostel manager. Only 1km from Cathedral. Range of cafes nearby

Friendly staff

Pros: The friendly and helpful staff were a delight, helping us to get a taxi for example. Everything was clean and we had all we needed.

Cons: Make sure you get the door entry code. It wasn't given to us, which caused an anxious moment when we got back from dinner (resolved when other guests opened the door).

Pros: Lady at the reception was so great, she was kind and helpful. Location is also great, close to the city center but not noisy at all. Easy to find. Bunkbeds have curtain and socket.

Cons: Kitchen could be a little bigger.

Pros: The staff had excellent customer care skills. Kettle to use was a bonus as not many albergues have.

Cons: A bit further walk from the main sights, but that is why cheaper. Showers ok but need a refurb. Kitchen same rm as reception area.

Very good location, right along the camino roure, quite near to the cathedral :)

Pros: Breakfast was not part of my package. So, cannot comment. Location was very good...right beside the camino route and it felt exciting to see the pilgrims heading towards the cathedral about 20minutes away

Lucky we found vacancy on time, word in full the money!

Pros: It is a short 1km from the historical center town if Santiago, loads of offers in the way, and Airport Bus really close... Just cost 1€ to take you to the Airport :)

Cons: The back of the Albergue could be optimised to win a propper shower rooms...
