A Fonte is a hidden gem beyond the steps

Pros: Had a comfortable and peaceful night Soap in the toilet

Cons: Kitchen tap and coffee machine did not able to use

Pros: The staff were friendly and accommodating. Decent shower. Reasonably comfy bed.

Cons: The hostel is half an hour walk to the cathedral (but I knew that)

Pros: Standard hostel that met all Camino needs. Good warm showers, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Was good to be able to see the city without a curfew.

Pros: Helpful staff, hostel has everything you need, well equipped kitchen and bathroom

Pros: All great. Friendly staff. Cleanliness. Quietness. Wifi is strong. There are two vending machines, especially the coffee one, which I used a lot. Shower is strong. Minus point is toilet inside the room, you can hear people pipi while sleeping. There is only 1 room with 29 bunk beds, but it seems to be comfortable enough for a night rest or two.

Cons: Location: it's a little far from the Bus/Train station, it took me an hour walking more or less to get there.

Pros: The place was a bit tricky to find, but the reception and the services were good.

Pros: Modern and nice place to stay. The lady on the reception is cute! I liked the sitting room with tables and couches. And the sleeping room is okay. The bathroom is ok as well. Though the ladies who used it weren’t neat…left the hair everywhere. But we had really good rest there after Camino. Thank you!

Cons: The beds are a bit low - bumped my head in the morning. No water in the kitchen.

A Good Budget Option

Pros: Very friendly staff who let me hang out well past check out time for my evening flight. Honored my request for a lower bunk, as I have a medical condition. It's located along the French Camino route into Santiago, and I was able to cheer Pilgrims on for their last few kilometers.

Cons: It's further from the Cathedral than indicated pre-booking. For this reason, I didn't walk to the Cathedral at night, when the incense burner was scheduled to be used.

Pros: Super friendly lovely staff USB port in bedside lamp

Cons: Mattress that tipped to one side. Automatic light that would turn on when anyone went near a bathroom

Pros: Good value, clean, fresh sheets & towels. Facilities were good & receptionist was friendly & very helpful.
