Albergue Azabache

Wonderful experience, super kind staff, great kitchen and shower, fantastic location.

Pros: The staff! Definitely! The host and the cleaning lady were super kind, friendly and helpful. The location as well; it’s perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped. I also loved the fact that the were individual showers and restrooms.

Cons: This has nothing to do with the hosts or owners of the property, but in my room some guests insisted on keeping the windows/doors open during the night and it was very cold and rainy. When your bed is next to a window, the draft can make you sick.

Fantastic location, great communication and good value

Pros: Right in the middle of the city center, very convenient. Bed linen and towel included in the price. Comfy mattress and usb charging port next to every bed. Dormitory with sitting area in a balcony overlooking the street.

Cons: I slept on Saturday night and it was noisy due to the party going on in the street, but nothing the hostel can do about unfortunately... Anyway, I was able to fell asleep. Hostel provides fitted sheet, duvet and pillow cover, but I was missing a flat sheet as well. I didn't have much time to spend in the comunal kitchen and sitting area, but if I were to stay for few days I would like it to be bigger

Pros: Amazing location. Nice and clean place with spacious showers (just 3 for the whole hostel, but there was no long waiting in our case). Very nice and helpful receptionist!

Cons: No stove, but microwave and air fryer were also helpful!

Pros: The alburgue is perfect for the cathedral. Less than 100 metres away.

Pros: Location was perfect! We had a room with a balcony which was lovely. The personal was amazing too!!

Cons: There were not that many toilettes and showers for the amount of guests...

Pros: the receptionist let me check in 30 minutes before the opening time. the beds are comfortable and very well spaced out. the roomm doesnt feel stuffy or cramped. the toilets/bathrooms are very newly refurbished and well maintained. very clean.

Cons: though the kitchen is spacious, there is no place to cook, though i can see there are pots and pans around. maybe i just didnt look for it more. :)

Pros: Very good location. Comfortable beds. Clean shower.

Cons: It was quite hot in the room and beds very close in a small room, so not much space.

Pros: Ideal location for enjoying a lively atmosphere at the end of the Camino. Clean with good facilities.

This place suited me perfectly after my walk.

Pros: The location is in the very center of an old town of Santiago really near the Cathedral.

Cons: It is very nosy at night because it is located in the very center of the old town.
