Pros: This place is amazing. The river view is marvelous and there is a trail that runs literally next to this place. The rooms were really clean with a good mix between modern comodity and the rural world. There is also a common room with a fireplace, games and books to spend good evening, specially in family.

Pros: A rural hotel in a wonderful location. We stayed in winter and had a beautiful view of the foggy river in the morning.

Cons: Breakfast is included in the price, but eggs are an extra charge.

Excellent hotel, fantastic view of the river, very relaxing and quiet.

Getting to know the Ourense area.

Pros: Lovely small hotel at the border of a lake. Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfy beds and a jacuzzi in the room with a lovely view over the lake.

Pros: We have had an absolutely breathtaking time at Gandarela. It has exceeded our (high!) expectations in every single aspect and we couldn't be happier with our choice of honeymoon hotel. Every single detail is thought out and we felt like we were at home, almost among family! Olga, the owner, was really happy to chat with us about the history of the building, which is fascinating! She is a wonderful professional, and clearly has a passion for her work and the guests. Paula, who takes care of the breakfast and the rooms, was also wonderful, thank you! For anyone looking for pure tranquility, amazing service, beautiful rooms, and a relaxing holiday, this is 100% the place. I would recommend this every time, and we shall certainly be back.

Brilliant, we loved it and I would recommend this to anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Pros: Excellent room in a wonderful location. The food is very basic there but what we had was delicious. The view is stunning and so calm and peaceful. The staff were excellent.

Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to wait to pay in the morning which made us an hour late leaving. This was for the evening meal and bar bill which we would have paid on the night if we’d none.

Pros: Very clean and spacious room, the view from the room was amazing, the location beautiful. Quiet and relaxing environment. The hosts very kind and helpful. Fresh breakfast made on the spot

Pros: Beautiful rural house, very clean, the host was friendly and offered us a lot of touristic info and recommendations where to eat. They also own a small family winery - the wine is amazing! The view of the Miño River is amazing. A quiet relaxing place! We'd definitely love to come back soon :)
