A good hotel, friendly staff and a great location.

Pros: Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and plenty of space in the room, including a conservatory and bathroom. Good location, close to town centre.

Cons: Nothing that we didn't like, all satisfactory.

Pros: We walked in straight from.the Camino, ideal location, across from a bar, near shops and more services. Rather basic, quite nice, some tight rules about kitchen usage. Walked into the kitchen, there was a kettle but no tea or coffee so walked back out again. Just being curious I opened the fridge door...mistake. It was empty but smelled absolutely awful. The key system is good. It was surprisingly quiet at night, beds pretty good. Some fantastic restaurants in Palas!

Cons: Hairdryer had no on/off switch, it works when you plug it in but trying to pull the plug on one hand while pointing the hot air away from your body was tricky. Everything is coin operated so come prepared. Maintenance required on some elements.. also the toilet seat faces out towards a busy pub, hmmmm..Reading light by the bed blocked by the fabric feature so it's no good. I was a bit wary of the said fabric as bedbugs might like to nest in such..?
