Perfect stop for Roman Mines on Camino Invierno

Pros: Perfect stop on the alternative route from Borrenes on the Camino invierno. 2 hour hike from here to the UNESCO world heritage site at the Mirador de Orellan. Friendly hosts Great food. Lovely and warm. Beautiful hotel.

Cons: Nothing.

Enjoyable, and I definitely would use again.

Pros: Great welcome, pleasant service, good room and good food. Interesting historic decoration.

Quirky , unique and fabulous stay .

Pros: Very unique and quirky , George our host was amazing and friendly Food and wine in the evening, home cooked was very welcome , fresh and tasty.

Cons: Could have done with a email prior to arrival explaining how to access the room with the lock code , if it wasn’t for a helpful chap living next door we would have struggled to access our room after a long day riding , a nice touch would have been able to have a beer prior to George’s arrival, an honesty fridge would work with soft drinks and beer. Room was hot at night . Local dogs very noisy, barking was loud Other reviews mention that the shower screen is too short and it’s impossible to keep the bathroom dry and tidy , also could do with a shelf in the bathroom for your wash kit.

A fascinating building, beautifully restored by its enterprising owners.

Pros: This is a fascinating building in the heart of an agricultural community and has been restored to a very high standard by a welcoming couple. The emphasis here is on simple, home grown, home made food. There is fresh fruit for breakfast and our modest evening meals were tortilla, padron peppers, goats cheese salad, tomatoes etc. The is no menu. David just made a suggestion and we nodded!

Cons: This is an observation, not a criticism! There are tables and chairs along the front of the house if you want to be outside but it's a bit like sitting in the driveway of a house. There is no garden as such.

Pros: Very friendly host. Lovely, renovated building with very nice rooms. Located in peaceful rural sorroundings, near the Las Medulas. Worth visiting.

Incredibly warm welcome in a beautiful calm setting with wonderful food.

Pros: Beautiful tranquil rural location . Wonderfully welcoming owners. Fabulous food all made in the farmhouse kitchen with fresh ingredients from their garden.

Cons: Nothing it was all amazing.

Tranquil, traditional but all modern comforts with lovely hosts.

Pros: A beautiful, sympathetically restored place to stay in a quaint village. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Quiet, excellent home made wine (!!) Location is good to visit Los Medulas a short distance away. Safe parking for bikes.

Cons: Nothing. If you have dietary requests give advance warning as no local shops!!

Pros: Tout, la jolie Maison très bien rénovée, la chambre agréable, bonne literie, l’accueil des hôtes adorable et prévenant, le petit déjeuner et le repas du soir.
