A very comfortable hotel to stay in Ponferrada

Pros: We had a very nice room, with a sitting room as well. Bed very comfortable. Everything worked Would stay there again.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. Not as central as hotel Atol Bierzo Plaza but more expensive

Pros: We were a group of 6 people doing the Camino from France to Santiago (5 by bike and 1 with a support car), and our stay was excellent! There was a safe place for our bikes, easy parking, and we were very well received. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a great location. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer. We highly recommend it to everyone on the Camino – whether by bike or on foot – after many rides and walks, it was just perfect!

Pros: My second visit here. The hotel is a short walk to the town centre. I arrived during the nationwide power cut but the staff were very apologetic and did everything to ensure that this didn't spoil our stay.

Great comfort and value

Pros: I am solo riding (motorcycle) from north Spain through Portugal and wanted to ride a particular epic road between two and this is a perfect start point. It was clean, well staffed with good English speakers and I got an excellent nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. It has limited free parking outside where I was able to safely leave my bike. And it was excellent value.
