Great location, basic accommodation needed a bit of attention

Pros: Great location near the castle and old town, friendly staff.

Cons: I booked 2 rooms, mine was fine but my sister and husband had no plug in the sink and the shower gel container was empty.

Pros: The location The receptionist very helpful spoke English she was a hard worker and a credit to the hotel the town is very nice with some good historical sights i enjoyed the museum of radio it also felt a safe place to walk around

Cons: The hardest part was finding it as it's in a pedestrian area but they have got good parking near buy

Lovely hotel in centre of Ponferrada.

Pros: Lovely hotel right in the centre of Ponferrada and near the castle, restaurants, shops, etc. receptionist was really helpful and friendly and had called to see when we would arrive as no reception after 6. Room was a good size and shower was good. Bed was comfy so had a good nights sleep.

Cons: The breakfast. Doesn’t open until 8 and lady was pretty unhelpful when we arrived down at 5 to 8 with our luggage. Coffee was just ok and croissants were microwaved so not particularly nice. We were the only ones there for breakfast so that tells its own story.

Very pleasant experience for just one night stay

Pros: Super central and the parking not that far. The staff is extremely nice and we had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast simple but good and for a good price. Thank you!

The hotel reception is not staffed all the time so there was a miscommunication with our bus driver

Pros: We arrived early and the cleaning staff allowed us in and I could check that our suitcases were delivered and ordered us a taxi to go the nearest hospital for dressing changes.

Cons: There is so renovation being done at the building opposite the hotel
