O Cruceiro

Thank you to the brilliant staff!

Pros: I was a pilgrim. So was my friend. But she was struggling to walk and O Cruceiro was at the top of the town! We managed to get there! When we arrived we were told we would not have dinner as planned! We were exhausted and the gentleman at reception was very understanding and served us a very good dinner with the left overs!

Cons: The location far from the town at the top of a hill!

Pros: There was a restaurant attached to the hotel. The place was clean, a kilometer away from the Santiago de Compostela walk from the town of Pontedeume, but you can also get to the route no problem without backtracking to Pontedeume. The staff were friendly, esp the lady who checked us in. She was very informative and made sure we got back on the SC route the morning we left.

Cons: It's a very busy bar/restaurant. There was a customer in the bar that stared at my husband and I for the longest time, and the stare was unfriendly. It made me very uncomfortable.

Feel like home

Pros: All pensions in the city centre were completo, and I had to go 1.5 km extra to this place. How lucky I was! This is a family business, hotel with restaurant, and the owners make you feel home. A good food, a comfortable room, and everything you need (I needed a tea with brandy and some heating in the room because I've got cold). Besides, I was instructed how to make a shortcut to return to Camino de Santiago. I wish this hotel to prosper!

Cons: Probably, a small carpet in the room could do it better, the tile floor feels cold for bare foot.

Pros: Comfortable, clean, and easy after a long day of walking.

Pros: The hot shower is very hot. It was very nice after 28 km camino walks. Bathroom is very clean. The owner is helpful. The cafe downstairs is open early, so I can grab coffee and cake before I take off. Basic accomodation which met value for money.

Cons: The location is 2 additional km after the city center of Pontedeume and the road to the place is ascending! If you are doing Camino, you have to do it anyway. It takes 1 km to go back to the Camino trek and the hotel proprietor will give you the direction.

A pleasant stay at the end of a long walk

Pros: The staff were very friendly. Check-in and out were very easy and there was a restaurant on the premises.

Cons: It was a bit off the Camino and at the top of the hill, which made for a very long first day.

Pros: Una parada en el camino a Santiago , trato correcto y amable por parte del personal, la comida del menu apabullante y la habitacion comoda , es lo que esperabamos

Buena opción si no se encuentra alojamiento en Pontedeume.

Pros: Tiene muchos servicios alrededor. El propio hostal tiene restaurante y próximos hay un súper y una lavandería.

Cons: No tenemos pegas. A pesar de estar fuera del camino, el desvío es muy pequeño, es una buena opción si no se encuentra alojamiento en Pontedeume.

No necesitas mas para un viaje sencillo de turismo.

Pros: La calidad precio fue bastante justa. La habitación tiene un excelente espacio, es bastante amplia para tres personas.

Cons: La llave no funcionaba bien.

Familiar, confort y muy humilde.

Pros: Hay que recalcar el trato recibido por todos, sobretodo por la mujer (rubia) que nos atendió en la cena… Que gente tan MARAVILLOSA!!!!!

Cons: En líneas generales cumplió nuestras expectativas
