Pensión La Plaza

Pros: Very convenient location. Clean, spacious room with beautiful furniture and a large bed. Amenities are shared. There are several bathrooms, so we had no problems. There's also a nice lobby with a kettle, hot water, and a microwave. The hostess was very kind and provided all the necessary assistance. The hotel is quiet and the atmosphere is wonderful.

It was very comfortable and exactly what was needed, after a hard day walking on the Camino.

Pros: We were greeted very courteously and everything was explained very well. I was even able to get some laundry done, very inexpensively...which was excellent.

Cons: It was all good.

Pros: Breakfast was not included. The hostess went out of her way to help us get our bags forwarded (we are walking the Camino Ingles) and more importantly she helped to bridge the language barrier to call to find accommodation for the following night….truly wonderful service!

Lovely Pension on the Camino Ingles

Pros: I arrived a bit frazzled at Betanzos, needing help to find the Pension, which is really only a stone's throw from the town square. The reception was wonderful, the meson nicely decorated, having many comforting touches, such as a common lounge and kitchen area. There is a luggage transportation service available if you are worried about the next two stages of the Camino Ingles. (I made it without using it, but was very slow....)

Cons: I would give this an even higher rating, except for the shared bathroom, which was a bit challenging when getting ready for bed or up in the morning....

Brilliant value and perfect for the Camino Ingles

Pros: This was a great place to stay on the Camino Ingles. Superb value for money and spotlessly clean. The decor was fabulous.

Modern and spacious room with friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: Very big and comfortable room with a walk in shower. The owners were very helpful, drying our soaking wet clothes and rucksacks and loaning my wife a hairdryer.

Good place to stay in Bezantos.

Pros: Lovely spot to stay. Small room with lots of storage. Kitchen and lounge area in the property although I did not use them. Host did washing which was a great luxury. Shared bathrooms were fine and not an issue. Property is right on the Camino Ingles route.

Pros: Great location close to the camino and old town. Friendly efficient and helpful team. Great laundry service.

Cons: Great price means shared bathroom… we got unlucky sharing with messy long-showerers who left their stuff everywhere!
