Quirky pension with friendly staff in lovely relaxing town

Pros: Everything! The owner spoke a little English and was friendly and helpful from start to finish. To say this pension is quirky is a bit of an understatement and the reason I loved it! I spent two nights here when I needed somewhere to relax whilst doing the Camino de Frances. There is a washing machine downstairs (and an amazing old style wood burner in the corridor with a clothes horse meaning your clothes will be dry very quickly), two shared bathrooms upstairs and a kitchen with everything you need to cook, make coffee and a huge fridge. Samos is a lovely little town with a beautiful monastery and highly recommended for a relaxing stop off.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful lady. Always smiling, and although she doesn't speak English, was attentive to my requests. The place was spotlessly clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The location was in the middle of town and just off the main road. A great pensiòn for a quiet rest.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay! Maria Rosa was an amazing host — so kind, welcoming, and attentive. She really made me feel at home. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is fantastic — just a short walk from the stunning monastery, which made for a beautiful and peaceful setting. Samos itself is such a charming village, full of natural beauty and quiet spots to relax. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Cons: The room didn't have the window directly to outside. Parking could be difficult.

Pros: What a beautiful and unique stay right in the center of Samos! The rooms are cozy, comfortable and decorated with traditional and antique furniture. The hosts are very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Pros: What can I say, probably the most beautiful place I have ever stayed, Samos is beautiful but this Pension was beautiful throughout, even enjoyed a soak in a bath, located on the river. The nearby bar Albaroque run by Lydia is fantastic also, great hamburger meal

Pros: Very large comfortable room. Fantastic location. Great vibe with all the beautiful flowers, gardens and hammocks. Very quirky

Cons: The shower screen was very wonky and was hard to operate.

Beautiful stay

Pros: Very friendly host even though her English was as good as my Spanish 😂. Very comfortable and great location. Close to but not on the main road.

Cons: I don’t think I’ll ever get use to not having a toilet seat. Not a problem really.

Great stay on the Camino de Santiago

Pros: We loved our room it was huge with a lovely big pellet burner, it made it super cosy. We would highly recommend stopping here in a suite if you’re walking the Camino, 5m off the route and very reasonably priced.
