A comfortable, and well equipped mixed dorm hostel with great bunk design
Pros: Spacious and comfortable bunk beds in mixed dorm. Step, rather than ladder, access to top bunks, with storage for backpacks inside the steps, which was a really neat solution. Bedding and towels provided, though no blankets. Efficient Aircon/heating system which maintained the night time temperature at a comfortable 22C so no need for blankets anyway. Small kitchen area and basic provisions (wine, beer, tea!) available to buy/self serve at very reasonable prices. Good toilet and shower facilities. Individual bunk lights and charging facilities. Right on the Camino at the entrance to Sarria and supermarket and eating options just across the road.
Cons: Automatic lights came on in the adjacent hallway where the toilets were located, so those next to the door would have found it disturbing. It was also awkward for them being by the door anyway, so far better to pick the bunks further in.

A top albergue
Pros: For once, I loved being top bunk! Friendly hosts, lovely sheets and a clean towel provided too. Right opposite Carrefour express and a short walk away from cafes etc. Good facilities for laundry.
Cons: Nothing major - the kitchen seemed a bit small and there was rubbish overflowing in the kitchen in the morning (probably because the guests didn’t sort their rubbish properly).

Pros: Clean , quiet and spacious place in each dorm. We had a love doggie with us stayed in room 😍😍
Cons: The owners also have a cute doggie !!

Pros: This albergue is located right as you enter town, which was truly great after one of the longer days of walking on the Camino. Also, there's a great supermarket right across the street. The place was clean and welcoming, the staff nice and the shared room was one of the better ones during my trip.
