Grelo Hostel

Lovely overnight when cycling the Camino Sanabres with bike parking and close to the city centre.

Pros: Great hostel, secure bike storage during our stay was great. Would recommend and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Clean, friendly and comfortable

Pros: This is the 5 start hostel of the Camino. Good space in shared room. Comfortable beds, 20 minutes walk downtown. Breakfast included. Bike friendly. I highly recommend this hostel.

Pros: Clean and ample facilities and super kind staff. Very good to have lockable lockers and the place felt secure. The location is good because it's near the cathedral and some good tapas and bars but it's a fairly long way from the camino if that's what you're doing. Some guy came in during the night who was clearly super drunk and woke everyone up but that's not the hostels fault! The communal areas were good and the breakfast provided was buffet style, which was great. The provision of toiletries in the showers was really handy and they gave actual sheets- I just feel like 20€/night is a fair bit for a simple hostel. I would probably stay there again though.

Pros: Good value for the comfort, facilities and location.

Cons: The heating system is not the best. Gets a bit cold in the room

Pros: Nice kitchen, the showers arr good, very helpfull staff.

Cons: Beds not comfy, noisy as soon as someone moves.

Pros: The manager was excellent The use of lockers for sheets and blankets and doubling as storage is a great idea, congratulations. The fact that bunk beds are not squashed up against each other is commendable. Bathrooms are fantastic Kitchen is excellent

Cons: Two patrons came in at 2:30am creating a racket and waking everyone up. Very disappointed. There were no paper hand towels in the ladies toilet

Pros: Shampoo and conditioner in the showers. Free breakfast. Not crowded.

Cons: Needs an electric jug as had to use microwave to heat water.

Muy buena relacion calidad-precio

Pros: 1. Buena ubicacion: en 8 minutos caminando de plaza mayor, un supermercado al lado y todos los restaurantes de casco historico tambien estan a 8-10 min de pie. El rio esta a 40 minutos caminando (y 10 mas hasta la estacion de renfe). 2. Habitaciones muy amplias, exactamente como en las fotos. 3. Higiene al tope. Todo esta muy limpio, bien recogido. 4. El personal es muy amable y atento. 5. Se puede entrar despues de que cierre la recepción, te facilitan un codigo. Muy comodo, no hace falta llevar las llaves. 6. Las camas son de estructuras metalicas, se hacen ruido un poco pero no es critico. 7. Hay califaccion en cada habitacion. 8. Hay que tener en cuenta que no hay servicio de guardar las maletas despues de check out. Pero hay taquillas muy baratas como de 2 euros en la estacion de buses, que etsa pegada a la estacion de trenes.

Pros: Me encanta, la.mejor relación calidad precio de siempre.

Bien, limpio, amplio, cómodo

Pros: Estuve muy bien en general, pero me gustaría destacar la actitud del propietario que hace que estés bien: no mezcla los géneros aunque podría (ambas habitaciones en teoría son mixtas, pero por lo menos en invierno las tiene por género), lo lleva solo con una pequeña ayuda de una chica, en invierno deja puesta la calefacción aunque solo tiene 4 gatos de huéspedes y no creo que le salga rentable, te ayuda con todo... etc. La ubicación está muy bien, las taquillas están muy cómodas porque justamente son cómodas y no estanterías altas. El salón comedor está bien también, es grande y hay una zona de comedor y una zona de sofás.

Cons: El desayuno (ni lo probé): margarina en vez de mantequilla, bollería industrial, pan Bimbo o algo así, café solo soluble porque no hay ni cocinilla ni moka. Pero vamos, no tiene ni por qué ponértelo, en la mayoría de los sitios no hay ningún desayuno incluido, así que quien busca desayuno incluido seguro que valoraría lo que se le ofrece. También las literas que hacen mucho ruido, la gente se despierta.
