Beautiful location, wonderful staff

Pros: Superb location in the hills and forests on the Rio Xabrina. Superb staff, probably the best hotel staff in Galicia.

Cons: All good.

Pros: Fabulous location on the edge of a small Galician village. Surrounded by forests. I heard a wolf howl at 4 am. Really nice staff. Very nice bedroom. Good food in the restaurant in the evening. Very chilled and beautiful place to stay.

Excellent stay

Pros: Lovely staff and a clean, well appointed room. BREAKFAST - came delivered in a box and was extremely tasty!

Cons: Access by road is a little tricky as it is very narrow.

Pros: We felt cared for, arrived late, offered food and served on a beautiful old stone balcony. Nothing was too much trouble.

Beautiful location, great hotel and good service, just a little hard to find using sat nav.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and freshly made. We ate dinner in the restaurant too which eas very good.

Cons: Wish I had booked a room with a hot tub, it wasnt obvious on Booking.com that our room didn't have one.

Pros: Very nicely renovated place. Both room and bath are very comfortable. We had a very nice dinner at the hotel, even though restaurant was closed. Personnel was very friendly.

Cons: Air ventilation is a bit noisy in a room, otherwise it's just a perfect place.

An overall pretty hotel with lovely rooms and surprisingly delicious food

Pros: Surroundings were aesthetically pleasing and our room was very spacious, beautiful, clean and comfortable. All the staff were amiable and efficient and the food was spectacularly done - I highly recommend opting in for the dinner for every night.

Cons: Could have been more peaceful if children had a separate play area away from pool/sundeck area. The pool is very nice, but a bit small for the total capacity of the hotel.

Pros: Hemos tenido una estancia maravillosa en La Rectoral. Habíamos reservado una habitación estándar y, al llegar, nos sorprendieron muy gratamente asignándonos una habitación de categoría superior, mucho más amplia y cómoda. Queremos agradecerles sinceramente este detalle, ya que marcó una gran diferencia en nuestra estancia. Lamentablemente, no pudimos disfrutar del entorno todo lo que nos habría gustado porque estuvimos enfermos durante esos días, pero precisamente por eso, el descanso fue fundamental, y contar con una habitación mejor hizo que nuestra recuperación fuera mucho más llevadera. El lugar es precioso, el entorno invita a la desconexión y al descanso, la atención por parte del personal fue impecable en todo momento y la limpieza, absolutamente excelente. Nos hemos sentido muy a gusto y cuidados. Sin duda, un sitio totalmente recomendable al que esperamos poder volver en otra ocasión para disfrutarlo como merece.
