Casa Bolboreta by Unusual Hotels

Pros: Rural hostal set in beautiful surroundings. Absolute quiet at night and very comfortable beds. Special mention must be made of our host/manager, José who is an absolute credit to this place. The dinner was absolutely delicious and the breakfast buffet varied and generous.

Cons: The bathroom could do with renovating.

Little off the track but worth it for the food

Pros: The evening meal was delicious, and just why we needed. Buffet style salad and bread starter with a main meal of tasty chicken and potatoes, with yoghurt and fresh fruit for desert. Breakfast was also great. Buffet style with a great choice.

Cons: It was a little bit out from the Camino route, but we were aware of this so it didn't spoil our stay and the location was beautiful.

Pros: Dinner and breakfast were great. The room was big.

Pros: Amazing place! Not only it’s beautiful, but it has amazing people working there. This day made a great memory of our Camino experience, thank you!

Pros: A piece of paradise out of town and away from the crowds. The accomodation was comfortable with lots of little touches of extra.

Cons: More people need to come and stay.

Pros: Our host put together a wonderful dinner and breakfast.

Pros: we loved how the girl welcome us and our pet, she was lovely, the hotel offers beds blankets feeders and bowls for pets, when we sat down to have dinner we got a full chicken bowl for the dog, lovely gesture, mention how well they treated us we felt like home, the room is very comfortable and the facilities are very nice nestled in the countryside

Cons: seems there was a problem with the heat because all guests were cold in the rooms

Worth the extra walk

Pros: I was a bit shocked when I realised the hotel was nearly two hours walk outside Palas dei Rei further on the camino. However, the location had many advantages. It meant you were ahead of other pilgrims on the busy route the next day and there was a bonding with all the other travellers. Rooms were very comfortable and the evening meal was simple but good.

Cons: Breakfast was a bit pricey at Eur10 so I skipped and ate nearby

Pros: Double room on the second floor that I had for myself wad spacious, the window sill gives you plenty of room to organize your things. Pick up from Casanova great but they do it between 15-16 so be aware. Lots of shower products, The room was warm, the view was over the roof tops. They are friendly.

Cons: No big mirrow or luggage rack though there would have been space for it. The heater was rosty and overall there were signs of ware and tear everywhere. There is actually no bar in the ordinary meaning of the word, there is a dining room and if you sit down there or pass by the kitchen door you would get attention. The double bed was cosy but my body did not like the Tempur type of mattress, my hip pain got worse. This is of course something individual.

Pros: Comfy beds, lovely decor, good view, television to watch the Euros football in room, very clean, best bathroom of our trip, evening meal 4 courses for 12 euros and it was huge so beware.

Cons: Few mosquitos in the room and our sat nav sent us of to a farm a few miles away.
