A good, family-run hotel on the outskirts of town

Pros: This is a lovely hotel, set on the edge of the town and with great views over the estuary and hills beyond. Our room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. Although the recommendation was to eat in town, we had some small plates of food in the evening, prepared and served by our host. The food was good and the breakfast was just what we needed. A good location to stay.

Pros: Exceptional staff and great view of river. Since we last stayed at the hotel, they had made major renovations with great improvements. They also gave us great suggestions of where to visit locally. Victor was a star!

An outstanding hotel

Pros: On our recent road trip across northern Spain and down into Portugal, we stayed in somewhere between 5 and 20 hotels, pousadas and paradors. Amongst fierce competition, Hotel O Cabazo was one of the highlights. The quality of the rooms, the obvious craftsmanship on display, the beautiful breakfasts and the utterly brilliant view from our sun-drenched balcony all made the hotel memorable. 10/10 for the staff, too.

Pros: Good location for walking into town. Very modern hotel, good parking facility. Good breakfast, served early. Quiet and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Cons: Restaurant was closed (they had advised us when we booked) but they recommended a local restaurant which turned out to be excellent.

This is possibly the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time.

Pros: The room was perfect. The view amazing, All the Staff were welcoming and very helpful to us. The breakfast was a great experience. This hotel and its staff was a perfect gem.

Restful stay in exceptional small hotel with excellent service

Pros: Great location , quiet and restful but minutes walk from the restaurants in Ribadeo. Our superior room had balcony with beautiful mountain views . Great breakfast and excellent service from all staff

Exceptional, fabulous hotel

Pros: Beautiful design, stylish, exceptional craftsmanship and materials. Fabulous furnishings and even the plants were wonderful. Breakfast was great.
