This establishment is located in the historic-artistic centre of the town, in a building dating from the 18th century. The building combines modern pieces and fittings, combined with the 100 year old wooden beams and original solid stone walls of this property. The rooms have been decorated in good taste combining avant-garde and traditional styles, whilst always maintaining the maximum comfort and quality. You can enjoy the typical local cuisine in the restaurant that is located in a medieval winery. There is also a Turkish bath, gym and sauna. Lago de Sanabria National Park offers various interesting trekking routes. Well worth the visit is the old town of Puebla de Sanabria. Sanabria holds its annual fiesta from 6 to 9 September. A lovely hotel, superb facilities, friendly, helpful staff and delicious food.

Pros: This is a lovely hotel - it's superbly located, and the facilities, views and everything about it is great. We had the suite at the front of the hotel and had a lovely view from our terrace of the town. We had an excellent meal in the evening in the gorgeous restaurant, and the breakfast the following morning was lovely too. The view from the terrace over the river is gorgeous. You can even shelter under the terraces during the rain!

Fabulous Posada in Peublo De Sanabria

Pros: Superb location in the old medieval town, rooms large and we'll equipped, food in restaurant the best we've had in the last two weeks. Rooms large and modernised and retain original features, bathroom included jacuzzi. Service first class from Jose and his team, highly recommended. One of our party was ill, and Jose took us to the local hospital to make sure he was looked after, he was exceptional, I cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff at the hotel... José' wife Patri in the bar, his mother the chef and Aurori front of house. Nothing too much trouble, rooms, food and hospitality first class. We will be back!
