Tranquilo ! Relax and enjoy the simple things.

Pros: What a hidden gem this is. We cannot wait for the chance to go back. Beautiful room and good home cooking. Nice bar too.The location is absolutely gorgeous. There is a trail walk down to the lake , we never made it all the way I think you would need a couple of days to explore. The local people are really friendly and keen talk. Practice your Spanish. Relax and have a beer and a walk it is perfect peace. Rustic authentic and very very Spanish.

Cons: Hot water seemed a bit scarce but it was 32 degrees so not a massive problem. At the time there were forest fires close by and a smell of wood smoke in the air. Fabulous display by the airborne fire fighters. Fixed wing and helicopters using the local lake.

Rustic rural charm - off the beaten track.

Pros: Beautiful old rustic building full of character. Nice bedroom with outside seating on a veranda. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were good. Breakfast was included and was straightforward.

Cons: No Wi-Fi in rooms - only in public areas, which is a bit of a hassle nowadays.

Posada con historia en plena naturaleza

Pros: El entorno es fantástico. Justo entre el lago de Sanabria y Puebla, por lo que está genial para conocer la zona. En el restaurante de la posada se come muy bien. La bañera de hidromasaje es un punto muy bueno de la habitación. Yo añadiría algo más de información sobre su uso ya que puede ser confuso el cómo activarla y cómo funciona el mecanismo del tapón.

Cons: En invierno, aunque esté la calefacción puesta, sigue haciendo bastante frío. Para dormir no hay problema porque con las mantas estás bien, pero al estar por la habitación sí se nota. Cuidado con algunas indicaciones de Google maps que te meten en callejones muy complicados, mejor seguir el camino asfaltado.
