Great location, food was delicious, beds comfy. Definitely one of the more expensive accommodations on the Camino trail

Pros: Great location right on the Camino trail. Comfy beds.

Cons: Upgrading from a two person bedroom to a three person bedroom just meant they squeezed another bed into the room, it was fine but a little cramped.

Pros: Clean and good stay for the Camino. Slightly out of the center but only a 10ish minute walk so it was great. Amazing massage chair wonderful for after a long day of walking!

Excellent stay for the Camino walk as you were very near the trail.

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay here. They are doing renovations but our room was fine. We left the next morning and after about an hour into our walk, I realised that I didn’t have my phone, so we called the hotel and they said that we had left it there. The receptionist, Adriana was very helpful and she arranged for our luggage transfer company to take it to our next hotel. So we truly appreciated what she did.

Adequate hotel with underlying concerns

Pros: A perfectly adequate hotel. Lots of hot water. The hotel is minutes away from a bar that serves good Pizza. The hotel is 'tired' and dated being a wooden cabin type design but we knew that when we booked. It appears that there is a new build on the same site that will shortly be available. The check in was strange, it is not signposted and was taking place in a bedroom where a member of staff had a laptop but this process was efficient. The room was large and the décor was old including the bathroom that really will need updating shortly.

Cons: Ok, I am not sure who is to blame for the following experience: This hotel was booked at the end of November 2024. In January 2025 I received a WhatsApp message from a UK number, pretending to be the manager at the Alda Hotel. The message was asking me to confirm my booking and account details. THIS WAS A SCAM!!! My telephone number and booking details had been obtained fraudulently. I raised this concern with booking.com and the hotel. The hotel said it was a problem with booking.com. Booking.com carried out a totally in-effective investigation and I received a standard generalised 'not our problem' response. Two months later the same happened again but the WhatsApp message was from an eastern block number. The bottom line is there has been a data breach but by whom? Unfortunate!

Nice rooms close to the Camino.

Pros: Nice warm rooms close to the Camino De Santiago and a short walk from the town. Modern decor , comfortable beds

Cons: Noisy in the morning when people start to move. It would have been nice to have had an area to sit and relax.

Pros: Room was super cozy! After check in, access is very easy with key cards for main door and room door. Comfortable beds. Kind staff.

Cons: As other have mentioned, it is difficult to find the check in area. They could really use some signage. Only signage is right near door once you’ve already done a lap! Dryer did not work well. No change machine available. No food service, and far from restaurants.

An ideal place to stay, located right in the Camino. Would probably stay in town next time if out of season. There ar

Pros: A warm, clean and sunny room awaited us at the end of our Camino walk. Reception was hard to locate (walk past the building, turn right and right again down concrete ramp) and as we stayed out of season there were no meals etc available. It was however a short 14minute walk to the nearest pizza bar which was good.

Cons: Dripping shower tap that we temporarily fixed with physio tape from our first aid pack.
