Excellent host, quality apartment, beautiful location

Pros: The location was stunning…we love wilderness and it certainly was surrounded by nature.

Cons: Sofa small for 2 - not sure where 4 people would have sat. Neighbour’s dog barked all night (not host’s fault)

Quiet place in nature.

Pros: New modern property and helpful owner. The place is very quiet and we loved the spring at the edge of the property. For nature,lovers.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Exceptional

Pros: I am traveling and staying at many properties recently. But this one is an excellent property. Outstanding!We loved our stay there. You can see and feel the love and care in each detail. It’s done at very high standard, thinking in small details. The bed extra comfortable. Very fast internet. Smart TVs. Kitchen very well equipped. Very good shower. Outside, there are so many options for seating, relaxing. And if you are more of activities, you find options with games, bicycles. You can even make your own barbecue. It’s an excellent option, if you want a retreat near the nature. But also, great option to enjoy with your family and friends. I highly recommend.

Comfortable house close to nature

Pros: Spacious, close to nature, new, comfortable. The town nearby is walking distance. Host was very attentive and making sure we had a good time.

Cons: Nothing, everything was fantastic.

Pros: The location would be best described as a farm stay and only a couple of minutes out of Castroverde. The quality of the accommodation was exceptional and very new but in an old building that has been meticulously restored to a high standard.. All the rooms were large with plenty of room. Our host gave us a surprise in the refrigerator and followed up with some more surprises while we were out. The Roman city of Lugo with its intact walls is only 25 minutes away and well worth visiting. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the local area but had pre booked future accommodation.

Mixed blessings of a lovely place

Pros: A very modern spacious apartment, spotlessly clean. Tranquil surroundings, large courtyard with a gazebo. Would be ideal for people travelling with a car. The bed is very comfortable. Easy access in a lockbox with a code. Owner left a surprise gift for us. He suggested to go to the Sunday market. He ordered a taxi for us when we left. There's a coffee machine.

Cons: Owner asked for a photocopy of our passports to be sent by email or WhatsApp long before we arrived. This we refused for security reasons to protect our identities online. A few messages via booking.com regarding this issue were not responded. However we managed to resolve this issue. We were unable to run the washing machine, the dryer was unavailable. It was a cold place, the heating was intermittent which made our stay rather uncomfortable. The place is 3.3km back from O Cadavo not near the Camino route. Some minimal provisions such as teabags, bread and milk similar to what is provided in other apartments would be nice for peregrinos especially being a Sunday all supermarkets in town were closed.

Galician Retreat

Pros: It was an exceptional surprise. The listing gives an idea but doesn't encompass the pure escapism that washes over you when you arrive. It was just a 2 night stay for us and the furthest leg of our Northern Spain 3 week adventure but so very memorable. A lot of careful thought and planning has gone into the conversion with high spec accommodation. We so enjoyed all of our stay. We just met one of the hosts briefly on arrival but was then left 'to enjoy our home whilst there' as they put it. We'd visited Playas Cathedrals en route just an hour or so drive away ( try to go at low tide for the best experience) and very much enjoyed Lugo especially MIHL (amazing space and exhibition), Lugo cathedral and a walk of the city wall. You do need a car. We understand there is to be another property added at Lucio Rodinso later this year and would certainly like to return one day.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. All perfect!

Fantastica

Pros: Me encanto el alojamiento tanto el trato como las instalaciones y todo. Detalles de bienvenida, calefacción y un sitio espacioso para estar con nuestros perritos. Sin duda un lugar para repetir

Cons: Lo único que no tuvimos suerte fue en el tiempo pero tienen un montón de juegos de mesa y una sala de juegos para no aburrirte
