Superb place to stay

Pros: Beautiful property. Fantastic facilities. Great location.

Pros: The suite was quiet and well laid out. The shower was excellent in terms of pressure and temperature. The rooftop terrace was amazing for having a great conversation on zoom -- what a backdrop!!

Perfect for Ponferrada

Pros: Beautiful property in the heart of Old Ponferrada. Perfect for visiting the area. Thoughtfully decorated and furnished with all mod cons.

Modern, comfortable apartment right in the heart of the old town. Highly recommended a stay here!

Pros: In the heart of the old town. Monika, the owner, is lovely and was in touch with everything we needed. Very modern and comfortable apartment next to the Castle and church. Also had GHD hair dryer which was amazing to use! Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Fabulous roof terrace with great views. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Cons: Nothing to do with the property there were several wild fires at the time so air quality was extremely poor. It didn’t stop us enjoying our stay but was glad to get to the northern coast.

Pros: Exceptionally well equipped apartment, furniture and equipment are brand-new and of highest quality. Beautiful roof terrace with spectacular view on the castle.

Very nice property, a little improvement in the equipment will make it more attractive.

Pros: Helpful owner, clean room, comfy bed, early check-in, good location. Housekeeping stuff did a great job to clean our room, to change our linen on the 2nd day, and to fill the coffee/other consumable, thus made our stay (2 nights) very pleasant. We are fully energized to walk “Camino”.

Cons: Washer & dryer and terrace are both shared with other guests, which are not indicated on Booking.com, so it should be clearly mentioned. Basic condiment such as olive oil, salt and pepper should be equipped with the kitchen as we had to buy everything in order to cook. More kitchen tools (bowl, whisk, etc.) would be helpful.

Very Satisfynig stay

Pros: One of the best places I've ever visited during my Camino Frances. The host was amazing, she had strong passion for this establishment, and really brought out the comfort and distinctive interior design. If you ever visit here, buy a bottle of wine or two, go to the roof top to enjoy the city. The town square is just too crowded, and you can feel and enjoy the view from up above, without hassling to find seats. From the roof top, the view of the Ponferrada Castle is amazing, and it's right next to the Basilica Nuestra Senora de la Encina.

Cons: Not a thing.

Finest accommodation of our trip

Pros: Monica our host was kind, hospitable and informative. Location is top notch. The web site doesn’t do the roof terrace justice! It’s incredible. There’s a lift, courtesy umbrellas and we found FREE parking 5 minutes away

Cons: We had to leave!

Pros: Apartment was amazing and had everything you could think of. Great location, super clean, lovely rooftop area, comfortable bed and well appointed furnishings. There was also a washing machine in the basement which was very handy. Monica was so lovely checking all was ok and on my last day she became my Camino angel when I left my suitcase for pickup at the wrong door and it got missed. She sent me on my walk saying don’t worry she will fix it, and that she did as it was at my next location when I arrived, I was so thankful, bless.
