I Loft Santiago by Upper Luxury Housing

Nice apartment on a good day...

Pros: Reasonably well located, with parking, and the apartment is very spacious. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom is fine. Generally have very little trouble with street / neighbour noise so it was very quiet. The apartment was clean and tastefully furnished.

Cons: Unfortunately when we arrived the building had issues so the elevators were down, the heating was out, and there was no hot water. We reported this and were told it was being worked on and would soon be resolved - however, since we were in communication already for the location of the lock box etc it would have been nice to be told about the problems prior to arrival. That would have saved us dragging bags up four stories when we could have temporarily parked at street level. Likewise, the hot water issue was resolved with a few hours, but we would have planned to go out for dinner before coming to the apartment if we'd known. It should also be noted that the apartment we had suffered from a very poor layout generally, and in particular a tiny kitchen with a really unworkable sink (that also leaked). Where the bed is located there is an emergency light (with a bright green LED) directly above the bed, and there are power outlets with bright blue LEDs along the walls...so it doesn't get very dark at night. Lastly there is a washing machine/dryer but only a single dose of washing detergent is provided, so the machine is less useful than it could be - it would have been nice to have a few more. It's still a nice place to stay, but it could have been so much more.

Fabulous place.

Pros: Everything regarding this apartment was first class. It was spotless and beautiful in design. We were very impressed. Would highly recommend a stay when in Santiago.

Convenient and comfortable

Pros: Conveniently located and car park was available. Great for our 1 night in Santiago. Easy walk to see the historic centre

Pros: The room is spacious. Nice and clean. Located at a quiet area. Supermarket nearby and 25 mins walk to the Old town. Staff is friendly.

Cons: My room is on groud floor without terrace and direct to the street. It is shame that no fresh air and sunlight in the room. The sofa in living aera is a bit smelly and worn. One chair was broken, when I sat down on it and my head banged on the wall. Luckily it was not too serious.

Pros: The apartment is great with everything that you need for your stay and in a great location. It’s a new building and decorated with a sleek and minimalist style. The communication with the owner is excellent, replying almost instantly and giving you all the details on how to access the property. Definitely we will stay there again if we go back to Santiago.

Pros: Very spacious and well resourced. Very comfortable. Very helpful and good communication.

Cons: The air con wasn't great but it didn't spoil our stay.

Comfortable space in the quiet area

Pros: Beautiful spacious apartment with a lot of light. Close to Mercadona, cafes, shops and 30 minute walk from the city centre. Quiet area, plenty of parking spots around as well as free parking spot underground. Good quality toiletries, comfortable beds and again - lots of space.

Cons: Small kitchen so if you cook a lot you might have a problem. Bad smell of mold in the shower - this should be fixed ASAP.

Very modern comfortable apartment with huge space let down by no upstairs bathroom.

Pros: Excellent condition with huge space and underground parking.

Cons: 2 km walk into the Old Town. Bed was upstairs but bathroom downstairs so not good for access during the night.

Lovely place

Pros: Stayed for one night as we had a late flight. Modern huge flat on two floors. Reserved parking in the garage. Also, free parking outside.

Cons: Needs a bit of basic maintenance. Paint peeling off, not all switches are working, nothing major though.

Amazing stay - would be back anytime

Pros: Amazing location, with a lot of space and a very nice comfortable bed - it was our last stop before going home and we felt like we had a really good night of sleep. It has all the amenities and the communication with the host was pretty smooth - they are very responsive and available. We asked for parking and everything worked perfectly well - I had absolutely no problem with instructions and my only regret is not staying longer.
