Very clean and comfortable / and central location.

Pros: Great location- central to all amenities. Welcoming host. Clean and comfortable accomodation.

Cons: Shared bathroom.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Lovely shared bathroom. Shared fridge was helpful. Good location. Everything we needed at the end of a Camino day.

Pros: The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The lady in charge was very helpful and accommodating of any requests we made. The room was comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent.

Cons: There were no facilities to hang wet raincoats. Weather was very wet.

Great location and a surprise breakfast in price.

Pros: Super pleasant staff and mini breakfast included in the price. Pension was located in the heart of Caldas de Reis which was also very convenient for us. Clean and well equipped property.

Cons: It’s on two floors which was a bit confusing but apart from that only positives.

Good value pension with breakfast included

Pros: The apartment was very clean and the breakfast included in the price (in the room on arrival, coffee machine provided) was very good value and most welcome. We were walking the camino and the location was great for that and also close to nice places to eat. The laundromat opposite and about 75m away was very useful.

Cons: We didn't receive any information about how to check in and worried as the entrance was a normal apartment block entrance. But we rang the number on booking.com and were talked through it, obtaining the keys from the key box on the wall. Note: we spoke Spanish so don't know if they spoke English. Of the 3 double rooms we had by far the smallest (the other rooms were vacated before us the next morning so we took a look) which was a pity as one of the other rooms had only 1 person in so the rooms could have been better allocated. Not really a problem though for 1 night.

Pension AB

Pros: A nice Pension in Caldas de Reis. Easy to find and just a few minutes from the town centre. Initial contact for entry is best done by telephone as the reception is on level 4 but the outside intercom does not clearly show this. Once the call was made easy check in and lovely room. The top floor room was bright and open with plenty of space and the agreed breakfast was there. A small coffee maker is great and better than instant coffee with a kettle. Two shared toilet/shower rooms. A lift to top floor makes access easy. Laundry self service is within 100m and is the usual great value at about €5 for a wash and dry.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. Make the phonecall when at front door and the process is all easy.

Pros: Very nice clean place to sleep over. Sentral to kafees, camino-marking.

Pros: Very helpful and cared about our stay. Our host Mika, was very welcoming and made sure we had all that we required. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Pros: First place that had a fan!! Comfortable bed and on a some what quite street. Great location near restaurants and grocery stores and the Camino.

Cons: The breakfast was not worth the price quantity wise but did include coffee in our room which was very much appreciated. Not the best value but may be worth it for some.
