Pros: Hearty and perfect hospitality, homemade food prepared with great love, and Pepe/the owner of the place who is fascinating and instructive to talk to and is willing to help and advise in any way.

Pros: An absolutely amazing New Years stay! Pepe was a stunning host, warm, open, considerate, honest! The room was warm and cosy, our New Years dinner excellent! We could not have been happier with our time at Casa Barallo.

Cons: Nothing to complain about here ;)

Pros: Everything 5*! The owner is a relly good person, super helpfull and nice. The house is cute and really confortable, the food reaaly good and the breakfast, one of the bests i ever ate.

A fantastic place to stay.

Pros: Wow..just wow. The beauty. The impeccable service and cleanliness by Pepe. The pool. Cool but it was invigorating with such a beautiful view. We had dinner cooked for us each evening by Pepe. Second evening we had it on the terrace outside watching kittens play. Amazing portions.. Breakfast was so thoughtful too.. lots of local produce and home baked croissants.

Lovely couple of nights in the hills around Lobios.

Pros: The evening meal and breakfasts on the terrace, overlooking the pool/garden and amazing views, was delicious. Pepe doesn't speak much English, but this wasn't really an obstacle - we communicated well together. He was very kind and considerate with the children. Very special place to stay, we would return if in the area. House and grounds were very clean.

Cons: The shortest route to the property was down/up a VERY steep narrow road.... (but you could go the other / longer way around).

Great rural lodgings

Pros: Lovely old casa with a very helpful owner. As other have said, do not follow GPS but use the owner's directions. We managed to get a Nissan Qashqai to the property without damaging the car but it was very tight in places! Excellent evening meals can be arranged a couple of days in advance but be sure to confirm that your request has been noted, otherwise it's a 15 min drive to nearest restaurants.

Cons: We were unable to eat all the delicious food 😆

Perfect, want to come back

Pros: Amazing place, beautiful and rustic vibe, with beautiful view. Close to Caldarias de Lobios. Pepe was super nice, we did a very late check-in and he helped carrying our bags. In the morning he prepared one of the best breakfasts, including a good iberic ham and home made croissant!!

Short but sweet!

Pros: Mr. Pepe is a great host, very courteous. The house is great with lots of character, in a very quiet secluded place with a great view. The breakfast was awesome, particularly the croissants and the orange juice.

Cons: The car access to the house is not for the faint of heart - very narrow path. Unfortunately the pool was not available, probably because it was still May, even if the weather was warm. Separate beds in the room joined together is not as good as a twin sized bed. But these are minor complaints, would stay again.

Pros: Everything. From the message which street I should take to get there, over the warm welcome and helping with my luggage to great breakfast. Pepe is a very warm and most friendly host and makes everything that the guests feel special and comfortable. Many thanks for all.

Pros: Great quiet setting. Amazing host. Lovely dinner and breakfast. Super attentive host.

Cons: The drive to the property is challenging, use the instructions for the gentler route.
