An atmosphere place to stay when in your Camino

Pros: We booked it for our first night on the Camino and straight up, between the cozy restaurant and our beautiful wooden room, we felt the enchanted atmosphere of the town and the Camino.

Cons: We had a bit of a problem with the light in the room, that was fixed by one of the stuff and no hot water that was later fixed too.

Excellent Camino stopover

Pros: Lovely traditional property with room above the bar/restaurant Staff were very accommodating, food was excellent, best so far on the Camino

Cons: Only issue was that light fused in bedroom so no light in morning when booking up. Not a big issue though as only staying one night

Good stay at Ocebreiro

Pros: It was simple but very good. The location was fantastic. Both dinner and breakfast were well prepared.

Cons: The beds are little too hard. The shower was very hot.

Beautiful location - room for improvement

Pros: Beautiful location on the Camino. The room was above the bar/restaurant. Excellent food options available. My dinner was fantastic and good value. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great views. The room was warm and had everything needed for a night’s stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Rather expensive compared to other similar places on the Camino. In the price I would have at least expected a breakfast but this is an extra cost. There is an issue with the hot water in the shower. It came out scalding hot, really dangerous and even turning it to cold did nothing. I had to let it run and waste so much water before I could use it and then it ran out too quickly and went cold. The lady in the next room had the same experience and complained. This really needs fixing as it is dangerously and ecologically wasteful.
