Pros: A real treat. Excellent value for money, great food and hospitality. Amazing building and rooms with a great view. My favorite place on the Camino.

A treat after a hard days walk along the Camino

Pros: Big friendly welcome with modern comfortable rooms. A generous delicious pilgrim dinner was a highlight

Pros: The staff were so kind and helpful, I loved that they let my daughter help with the delicious communal meal (it made her so happy!). Very reasonably priced washing machine and dryer, lovely surprise that they had good puzzles and toys in the beautiful communal lounge. So much beautiful natural light and a lovely bedroom. The breakfast was amazing too.

Fantastic stay at Casa Galago

Pros: Casa Galego is in a small village but it is a well designed and immaculately presented property. The staff genuinely care for the comfort of pilgrims. Whilst the communal dinner here is a bit more expensive than the usual pilgrim meal it is definitely worth the extra cost, and was better than the majority of the restaurant meals we had. The Galician soup is packed with vegetables from the cook’s own garden. The roast beef and vegetables was plentiful and tender and the Santiago cake was also home made. We loved our nights stay here- it has definitely been a stand out for us!

Cons: Nothing - it was fabulous

Pros: The menu dinner was amazing - such delicious food! The whole place was very clean, quiet and comfortable! A wonderful stop in a small quiet place - a welcome refuge before the hustle & bustle of Sarria!

Pros: I loved everything about this Casa Rural. The room was light and bright, the bed the most comfortable I’ve had on the entire Camino and everything was beautifully clean. The communal pilgrim meal was an absolute highlight. Breakfast was great too.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Pros: A wonderful surprise nestled in the heart of nature along the Camino. A haven of peace and tranquility. Everything is white, clean, and bright. The large shared dining table invites conversation and interaction among travelers from different countries, creating a pleasant and welcoming travel atmosphere. Many thanks to the owner of this place, who goes out of his way to create a pleasant and welcoming environment.

Pros: Modesta, the owner, puts her heart and soul into hosting her guests. The place is immaculate, her cooking is superb, and going the extra mile for guests is the norm here - definitely one of the best stays we have had along The Way.

Exceptional accommodation and amazing food

Pros: Exceptional stay during our Camino walk. Super clean - virtually brand new. Private rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy. Best of all was the communal evening meal. Absolutely amazing 3 course meal in terms of quality and more than you could possibly eat. Lovely staff!!!

Cons: Nothing to improve upon. This is a new hostel which could easily pass for a hotel!
