Perfect stay for the Camino

Pros: Fantastic house 70m from Camino, lovely peaceful countryside setting. We were lucky enough to have the house to ourselves. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus plenty of selection left out for breakfast. Carlos our friendly host came by to check we had everything and gave us lots of recommendations for our onward travel. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful host, enjoyable stay

Pros: The owner, Carlos, is a dedicated and enthusiastic host. He is extremely helpful and tries his best to make your experience enjoyable along the camino. His place is right on the Camino route. Breakfast was great, very generous. The fruits and the eggs come from his backyard and his own chickens.

Cons: Do not open your windows at dusk. There are mosquitoes.

Pros: It was a pleasant experience. We had everything we needed to feel like home. The hosts are very nice, they helped us order food and recommended restaurants in Sigueiro which was very helpful. If you are doing the Camino Ingles you must spend a relaxing night here to arrive in santiago with fresh energy.

An amazing option for caminante passing through with everything you need and more!

Pros: Carlos and Silvia were incredibly kind, helpful and hospitable. The room/house is very clean and has absolutely everything caminante need, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry options and beautiful garden. Right on the Camino Ingles route. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would return again myself.

picturesque relaxing space after a long hike

Pros: I loved the full kitchen and the shady yard to relax after a days hiking. It was also nice to have access to a shared living room, and a washer /dryer. Picturesque region. Carlos the host had lots of tips on where to eat.

Cons: It was a shared space, as expected, but still takes a little getting used to. Be ready to have some conversations :)

Pros: Nice garden. Good facilities. Host very helpful and attentive, couldn’t do enough. Lots of variety for breakfast.

Cons: Shared bathrooms, no shower curtain in upstairs bathroom so messy. Perhaps too many “guests”.

Homely stay with everything needed, right on the Camino

Pros: Great location along the Camino, very friendly and helpful host, an incredible breakfast spread available - waters and juice in the fridge, fresh eggs and fruit from the property, felt like home. Also strong Wi-Fi. Washing machine and dryer with everything needed to do a load of washing, very helpful.
