Perfect stop over

Pros: Everything, friendliness, clean, good food and drink

Pros: Restaurant and waiter were excellent. Highly rated on all accounts. Beds were comfy, room was spacious, very comfortable.

Cons: On the website it says it is 3km from the airport. We asked them to book us a taxi for the morning and they wrote this in their diary and told us this will be sorted. Come the next morning, NO TAXI...they opened half hour later so we couldn't get anyone to call one quickly (we do not speak Spanish) so we had to rush by foot, run, to the airport so we wouldn't miss our flight. We only minded this as we just finished the Camino and my wifes knee was bad and as it turns out, the airport was 5km away. Thankfully we made it. Do not trust a taxi will be called. Prepare to hike to the airport!!

Pros: Quiet location, near airport, friendly staff, really excellent restaurant for dinner and good breakfast.

We had a very good rest before walking our last day of our camino and we left in good spirit.

Great start to our Camino experience in a beautiful restored farm house.

Pros: Drinks in the evening we arrived, were very welcome. We had been travelling for some time, and although it was late, the staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was hearty, and coffee was fantastic.

Stay here in Vilamaior with superb menu and chef

Pros: I arrived at about 5pm and felt welcome. The staff were very friendly and easy going. They room was clean and comfortable. I had the most amazing dinner and breakfast at the dining area reserved for inhouse guests. Best meal on my Santiago and the menu was amazing. If I had known my room had a third pull down bed, I would have invited my 2 new walking pals to stay.

We liked it so much we stayed for hours and talked to lots of pilgrims

High class accommodation on the Camino. Superb food.

Pros: Spacious room, with drying line for laundry immediately outside (essential for pilgrims on the Camino!), and a pleasant green area to sit and relax outside one's room. Comfortable bed. Very clean and well-presented. Restaurant is superb, with food of an exceptionally high standard served at dinner and breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, with good English language skills. The property is immediately on the route of the Camino de Santiago and could not be easier or more convenient to find.

Cons: Nothing to criticise. The property and staff exceeded my expectations. Very good value.
