Nice

Pros: It backs on to the Camino Ingles and we walked in and having stayed a number of times before it was like coming home. A lovely hotel, lovely staff. Great.

Pros: It was excellent value, very comfortable and incredibly clean.

Cons: No coffee maker in the room.

Pros: Nice people, looked very high end polished. Adequate room, felt luxurious . pretty easy to find. Small distance from Santiago de Compostela. 5 mins drive if that

Cons: Despite its Luxus look it did not have a working restaurant and trying to find some where to eat if you don’t have a car …not easy. The reception offered food delivery but that only works when you know what’s out there

Hotel Castro great last stop on the Camino Inglés

Pros: The Hotel Castro is well situated for sleeping over to ensure a short stretch into Santiago de Compostela when walking the Camino. The accommodation is very nice and clean and I got a good night's sleep. There is a bar and vegetable store 80m from the entrance that is suitable to buy a good dinner as the hotel's cafeteria was closed. I will recommend this Hotel on your way into Santiago.

Cons: The mini fridge and air conditioning did not work. It is not such a big deal, but one is a little disappointed. I paid in full when I made the booking. But I was called back after I handed in my keys and said my goodbyes and was nearly off the premises. The lady apologized sincerely, but it is a bit humiliating

Great value hotel near airport for short stop over

Pros: Lovely big room with comfy bed. Big bathroom with shower. Spotlessly clean. Rooms claim to be soundproofed but you did still hear noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor. It was a short drive from the airport and suited me perfectly for a 1 night stop off before exploring Santiago and beyond. Free parking was excellent.

Cons: The area looked quite industrial with some sort of power station chimney nearby. No buffet style or English breakfast option, only a selection of sandwiches and cakes.

Pros: The room was very nice and spacious, all the hotel is nice &clean We also got extra bed for our child.

Cons: The only less pleasant thing were noisy tourist busses with engine running and smelly exhausts right below our window So next time I d try a different section of the hotel.

Excellent hotel, ideal base for touring, highly recommended.

Pros: The Hotel and apartment was spacious and very well decorated. Rooms were quiet and well equipped. Car parking was ample. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons: The bed cover looked very smart but should be wider to avoid slipping. A kettle would be helpful.

Pros: It was a great place to park up the motorhome out of town.

Cons: The Restuarant we were given a menu and told we could not order anything from it. And then the options we were given was different to everyone else. Mixed frozen veg starter and then the same with a piece of fish. It was like Faulty Towers.
