Pros: Small but nice. Good location. Easy walk to everything especially Cathedral and Pilgrim office. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by.

Great stay close to the Cathedral

Pros: The location was fantastic as it was a few minutes from the Cathedral and there was a devine cafe (with normal food) called Bonsai Cafe a few minutes walk away. The staff at San Clemente were very friendly and accommodating.

Cons: It’s nice but it’s small and very basic doesn’t have breakfast or great coffee making facilities. For £100 a night for a solo traveler it’s expensive. I tried to cancel during my “free cancellation” period (3 days prior) but it was going to charge me one nights stay £95. Otherwise it’s great! I’ve stayed at a lot nicer for less not far away.

Characterful, comfortable and secure historic hotel in outstanding location

Pros: Excellent location with view from French windows over to the nearby cathedral. Secure, clean and comfortable with welcome tea/ coffee making facility, small fridge. Excellent clothes storage. Most helpful reception and cleaning staff facilitating luggage storage before check-in and after check out. Keyless, coded entry. Excellent cafes, restaurants and bars close by.

Cons: Effective shower but set over creaking bath. Expensive given the limited services available
