An oasis on the Camino.

Pros: Undoubtedly one of the very best albergues on the entire Camino network. It was a calm and serene place, filled with good humour and gentle mediative music. Supper and breakfast was another highlight. Knut will have problems holding back the tide of pilgrims wanting to stay here as the albergue gets better known. Simply a superb stay. I didn’t want to leave.

Perfection

Pros: Has to be the best Albergue on the Camino Frances! The welcome was warm, and the whole place is perfect. I arrived soaking wet and cold. Homemade chicken soup and a warm fire dried me and the boots. The shower was hot and came with shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer! The room was spacious and colourful and everything you could possibly need was provided. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast incredible. The location is perfect too, and sets you up well for the climb to 0'Cerbreiro. All in all a most delightful stay and highly recommended.

A real treasure on the Camino; highly recommend

Pros: Really one of the best Albergue on the Camino. Krut is an exceptional host, the room was spacious and clean and the food home cooked. Even the shower had hair conditioner; absolutely wonderful 👍

Perfect place where your body & soul get a nice rest

Pros: Perfect place, beautyfull place, nice garden, felt warm & cosy. Knut=good. He makes very tastefull diner and breakfast. Is one of the real diamonds on the carmino.

Simply put this is an incredible place and just has to be experienced. Pure joy.

Pros: The whole experience is just outstanding. No better albergue on the Frances in my opinion. Knut is an absolute legend and a true pilgrim. The small area to relax by the river and evening meditation add to the overall feel here.

Pros: We absolutely loved staying here! Very clean and tidy. Host is amazing - friendly, helpful and a great cook! The dinner and breakfast were superb. It is situated near the river - so nice to relax and go for a swim.

Fantastic Alberge with great vibe

Pros: The Alberge is a must see. The Location in the Valley is beautiful. You can cool off in a little river in the garden, where you can also just chill and enjoy your evening. Knut, the Host, has done an amazing job in furnishing the house itself and the garden. Relaxing music welcomes you when entering. Once you enter you are less stressed than before. The rooms are very nice and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. I would advise you to order the breakfast and dinner. Knut is a good cook. There is also self-made cake for sale an refreshments at a reasonable price.
