This albergue is perfection!

Pros: This was the best albergue I stayed in on the entire Camino! Juan, our host, treated us all as valued guests and we felt very welcome. The dormitories werespacious and very clean with single beds and lovely linen. There were large clean washrooms segregarse for male and female. Juans mother is an incredible cook and the food was delicious! For breakfast they even gave me glutenfree bread! This family run albergue is simply the loveliest and the best!

Cons: There was nothing I could possibly criticise! Todos perfecto!!!

Stay here.don’t question it

Pros: It is large and airy yet feels like home BECAUSE of Juan and his parents who cook and help with the care of the place. The beds are all on the flat, a Camino luxury!! There’s plenty of room for belongings and the beds are comfortable and warm. The attached restaurant has food cooked by Juan’s mother and is VERY delicious. Three stage meal for €16. Amazing.

Cons: Bathroom is a little cold. But I imagine that’s because of it being November.

Excellent host

Pros: The host was excellent. He made me feel at home. The mixed dormitory has separate beds, relatively apart from each other. The restaurant is good as well. It is one of the best arbergues in the area.

Go go go!

Pros: I never leave reviews. But this time I have to. I have been to many hotels/hostels, I am very picky. It was my first day on the Camino, Juan was amazing, made me feel «at home », the food and wine were delicious. The dorm was very comfortable, super clean and cosy.

Cons: Maybe the shared bathroom.

Pros: Was the most amazing place, Juan was an incredible host and made us all feel right at home.

Cons: I can’t think of anything that could be improved, an immaculate stay.

Pros: Juan( hopefully spelt correctly) was an amazing host. Couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Such a great place to stay. Very relaxed qnd the food was sublime

Beautiful stay on the Camino.

Pros: Superb accomodation in the beautiful location of Villa Franca Del Bierzo. Having stayed in some wonderful accomodation while walking the Camino, this property definitely was the best. Very helpful and kind owner, beautiful immaculate room and lovely grounds. The meal at night was delicious. Nothing could be faulted. Would love to come back here again to stay.
