El Albergue del Montero

Clean, a lot of space, modern

Pros: The Albergue is very well located - it is very close to the city center, in the near of it is a supermarket and a café. The kitchen and also the common room is huge - cooking was very nice! They also have a little playground for children - I guess when you book a stay in the hotel (not in the albergue) as a family this might be very nice. It was clean and they have modern devices. I also used the washing machine (€4,00).

Cons: There could be some more clothespins. There is just one toilet in the albergue which is open, but I guess when there are more people as when I stayed there (4 people) they would open the other rest rooms they have.

Incredible on all accounts

Pros: The property is incredible on all accounts. Beds are comfortable and private, bathrooms are clean. The kitchen area has everything you need to prepare a decent meal (a true gift on the Camino). The upstairs living area has a breathtaking view of the countryside. 10/10 sad that I only get to spend 1 night here.

Wonderful experience

Pros: The host (a man with glasses) was so friendly! Very helpful and caring. He even called us on the day we left to ask if we need any help, because one of us had injury. The albergue was very clean, kitchen is spacious and with everything you need to cook. The outside area is nice and green, great for yoga class or just relax under the sun.

Cons: Everything was just wonderful.

Clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced

Pros: Good service from staff, who did eveeything needed to make me comfortable on arrival: facilities included vending machines, washer and dryer, lockers for personal belongings, and a library with a selection of books, magazines, and board games.

Cons: Nothing, really. The mattresses could have been firmer, but were in line with expectations for an albergue. Selection in restaurant was a bit limited, as well.

Pros: The albergue is very spacious and provides travelers with privacy. The albergo has a large kitchen with all utensils for preparing meals. A comfortable rest in the two living rooms or in the spacious garden is also guaranteed. My personal favorite was the swing.

Good. Cleaned. Lovely staff.

Pros: It was good for one stop :) There is a beautiful cathedral to visit.

Comfortable and clean pilgrim hostel

Pros: The bunk beds have an individual table and light, which is very useful for reading. Both the bed and bathroom areas were spotless.

Cons: The hostel is on the outskirts of the village, however, it is very close (5-10 minutes by walking).

Pros: very nice people, good beds with your own blanket! beautiful inside, just lovely stay

Pros: Spotless facilities and the best equipped kitchen area. Nice areas to relax in.

Cons: A little out of the centre.

A really great stay with lovely front of house Ángeles.

Pros: Located within easy walking distance of the town centre. Delightfully spacious accommodation with restaurant and super helpful staff (Ángeles).

Cons: Nothing, all super.
